Le_Kirk said:SoJacob said:I made the payment. The lady was sure about the payment, If someone applying for set aside and stay of writ together in N244 then it's £14. If it's just set aside then it would be £275.
I called CCBC support service and cried (Didn't make up, I was/ am really worried and stressed). She told me they have not received the application and it can take 2-3 days. I asked if it is possible to fast track for me and explained that I am pregnant and all. But she can't do anything until she get the application form. Once received it can take upto 6 weeks for judge to make a decision.
She also told me it is likely to affect my credit records for 6 years if the judgement not set aside by 18/3/22 (today is the 15/3/22). Should I make the payment? Please advise
After speak to the CCBC I am so worried about this CCJ and credit score risks. I was asking you if I should make the payment for peace of mind.0 -
If payment is made before the deadline, no CCJ will be recorded. You can still apply for a set aside.
If payment is made after the deadline, then a CCJ will be registered but marked as satisfied. This could affect your ability to obtain credit for six years. You can still apply for a set aside.
If payment is not made and the set aside is not granted then the CCJ will remain on record for six years. The claimant is likely to use some form of debt collection enforcement. You can still apply for a set aside, but enforcement may occur before the application is heard.
I cannot advise you which would be the best option. If it were me, I might consider paying the judgment now to ensure my ability to obtain credit was not affected, then apply for a set aside. If the set aside was refused, I would still have no CCJ recorded against me.
I would try for a set aside with consent as it will cost less than without consent.

The OP did ask for set aside with consent but was ignored.
I think she will pay the £750 and hope the CCBC also allocates her set aside application. That is, if they got it.
I do not know if the OP got an acknowledgement email from the CCBC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I contacted VCS but they asked me make the payment via an automated telephone payment system 0114 231 7851. I asked if I can make the payment with a staff member, however they do not have the facility. He also told me I should be pay as stated in the default judgement. I can make the payment what says on the default judgement. however is that enough and does it clear my credit record since DCBL says that I should be paying them including the writ charges?

If you are within the default payment period for the judgment then any writ/enforcement charges are not, well, enforceable - they've tried to enforce too early. (IMHO, IANAL etc.)

Ok. When I contacted DCB legal they advised me to contact DCBLtd to pay the judgement fee. However when I contacted the DCBLtd few weeks ago they told me that I should be near £200 more than what states on the default judgement. I asked something In writing to confirm this and they lady told me that I will receive it shortly but never received any letters regarding this.I contacted VCS today to make the payment and they gave an automated telephone payment number to make the payment. Can I just make the payment to VCS what ever is on the default judgement? I am worried if the DCBLltd come back to me asking to pay the additional fee of their writ/ enforcement. The lady I spoke today at the CCBC also confirmed that the claimant can add on expenses within the 30 days of the judgement.I am so confused.0

Also when I contacted them on the number given to me to make payment it’s giving me few option and the one I should be choosing ‘if you received a letter from a third party’ it’s asking to contact the third party to make the payment. Which is now DCBLTD0
-
No just make the payment and ignore that.
It is NOT now DCBLtd. They are not and never should have been involved within the first 30 days. You didn't get a letter from DCBLtd, you contacted them in error thinking they were DCBLegal.
There are no writ costs. Just pay VCS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Should I get any evidence of the payment? Off course I can show my bank statement but I believe there is certificate I should be gaining from them? How can I get it? And how can I submit to the court? Can I just submit my bank statement to the court ?0
