As long as they have the right address then sit tight.  The case hasn't gone away but most courts are very busy and have backlogs.

    Dear All

I finally got the date for the hearing on 26th oct. I am due to have baby on sept 14. Hopefully I should be fine to attend the hearing. I will be starting my mat leave from 29th so that I get some time to prepare. I really appreciate if you could support me in regards to preparation and what to expect during the hearing. Sounds very scary.. But I know I should be find :).

    Thank you

Have a look at this if you've not previously seen it - originally posted by forum regular @KeithP.

That's what PPCs rely on to frighten money from those who make incorrect assumptions because they don't do the research to find out!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you have a hearing date (now) you presumably have submitted a N244 form along with witness statement and evidence and a draft order.  This you will have taken from the exemplar written by @Jack5656.  We do advise having a defence to the underlying claim in your back pocket in case the judge asks if you have a prospect of defending the claim.  You have been given a link by @Umkomaas which shows the court process.  You need to prepare yourself and learn your witness statement and defence inside out and back to front and understand any case law to which you are referring in any of your submissions.  Of course with a new baby you will have plenty of time to do this!

    I really appreciate your support.
I have read @Jack5656 thread. I will follow your advise. Is there anything else I should be taking with me for the hearing other than the hard copies of the SAR and copy of my WS and defence?
