I have told CCBC my journey so far in regards to this case was not easy. I was getting different advice and information from CCBC and when CCBC couldn't give me an answer they were advising me to contact DCBL as they know what I should be doing :disappointed:!!. I have told her that a normal public does not have much understanding about the law and the court procedures, and it was unfortunate that I had to depend on public forums as I felt more confident around the knowledge others have than the staff at CCBC.

I have contacted my local MPs, yes they emailed some authorities and forwarded their reply to me. But nothing happened following this. I have gone through so much stress, which is mainly due to not having a clear picture of what I should be doing? What would happen if I did this or that?  Who should I contact?.....

I am lucky that I am financially settled and did pay what DCBL demanded (I wouldn't if I was not looking for a mortgage); however, this is not the case for so many people who live around us. I wish this system will get better and I hope WE can make some changes (Even though I have no idea how to!! but definitely i will not stop without doing nothing about this).

THANK YOU ALL!!! I felt the members here are very genuine and really trying to help people. You really helped me so far!! Especially couponmad, not sure how much I can thank you enough!! I really noticed your commitment when you were answering me day and night!!!

Don't let this lie, will you.

Did you do the email marked for the attention of the CCBC Judge, asking for an immediate order based on your application and this email, for the money to be returned, the CCJ to be set aside without a hearing and for a stay of execution to allow you to defend the case?

Also report DCBLegal to the SRA for refusing to take your payment and making you pay £200 more to their bailiff arm despite the fact the default judgment was within the first 30 days.

Remember you are reporting the solicitors (DCBLegal) to the SRA not DCBLtd.

    Definitely NOT!!!

I have not had a chance to email CCBC yet. I have been extremely busy at work. I will do it this evening or tonight.

Our mortgaging is rejected due to credit score. I do not have a history of bad credit score, all I can think of the county court claim which I paid within a month. I did emailed the CCBC with the evidence of the payment when I made the payment to the DCBL.
Is there anything I can do about this? Really appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

Aren't you still awaiting a response from your local court to your application and recent email anyway?  A lot depends on what that Judge decides to order.

    Good morning

That's odd and a late reply to an older email.  My last advice to you was to email the local court to explain your position and application.

Did you do that and are waiting to see what the local Judge orders?

    Hi all,
My credit report still remains poor due to the CCJ. I have paid the amount before 30 days from the judgement. I have emailed the county court however no response yet. Is there anything I can do about this? We need this to be cleared in few weeks time for us to move forward with our house purchase.

    Thank you.
