should email as drafted above with proof of my pregnancy and add those extra wordings and CC others? Or just email the evidence to the given email address only?

    Hi wonderful people,

I have drafted my N244 and witness statement. I am aiming to post it online (if this is possible) or via post today.
Please can some one kindly advise me if there is anythingelse I should be posting with the n244?

    Thank you.

Surely e-mail is best rather than relying on the vagaries of the postal system.

Thank you. I wondered if I should include the draft defence with it as well?

I think not at this stage as that would allow them to rebut it, which could cause the Judge not to even allow the set aside.

As this set aside relies on CPR 13.3 only (because the claim was served but you were abroad) the Judge has to believe you have a good chance of defending the claim.  That involves things that there is no need to show the Claimant just yet.

Your WS needs work.  I will come back to you.

In your witness statement you have used lower case letters for some paragraphs, in my opinion the paragraphs a), e) and f) are the same thing and it would be better if that whole section was in the form of a Word document called six-point draft order.  Search the forum using the words in bold and you will see some examples.
