Hello :hello:
Managed to catch a nsd today. Not sure if it was expected or not but I haven't left the house and I'm not intending to go browsing online either so I'll take that.
It's been quite a productive day, pottering around the house and getting caught up with stuff there. I've done a bit of housework, a bit of decluttering and a bit of using stuff up. I've made 4 jars of gooseberry chutney, and a jar of pickled radishes, which helped me to relax a little bit.
Also managed a bit of crochet, and most importantly I caught up with my bestie, which was long overdue and very much needed. It's amazing how much a catch up with someone you love is...
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Today I'm grateful for big sis + bil leaving early so that we could pack, for a smooth journey norf, for dh finding the fuse box after tripping the electrics, for a walk this evening with dd, for finding a free parking space right opposite the cottage when we returned from the supermarket.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hi all:j
Well DD is back with all the attendant drama...priority was to have her eyelashes done (!) & then had to ring us to say she'd left her lights on her car (heavy rain) & the battery was flat..soo DH turned out & rescued her...
Thank goodness we go away day after next...
Did some gardening & picked some blackcurrants, made a frangipane with them, not too many of those but loads of redcurrants for some reason.
Another NSD, so now 2
All food from stores & HM curries for supper.
Much still to do so off to write a list..

Morning all,
Spendy day yesterday as did a top up shop, then made chilli stuffed potato skinsDon’t know why I’d never thought of that combo before!
Walked the dogs and had a swim. Went to my parents for lunch and caught up with my sisters. Rescued and revived a tired bee with sugar water whilst there. Then came home and repotted the succulents that had turned from 4 in a pot to over 200 babies. Couldn’t pot them all so done went in the compost but made up 5 new arrangements with them.
Then had an evening catching up on tv that I hadn’t watched during term time. I’m loving the holidays and so excited for the next few weeks of chilling. Admin job starts Monday so that’ll be some extra cashLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Morning everyone
Sorry for lack of posting; had really bad back on Friday and went to bed early & was mega busy yesterday catching up on various things.
Am looking after my friend's cats and walking to her house - subject to my back holding up - so getting some good steps in. Have enjoyed sitting in her garden with a cuppa tea to keep her cats company
Yesterday had to 'borrow' from my meagre savings as waiting payment of self employment invoice - will repay savings once I get paid. Had to travel to building society branch, while there I had a trawl of the CSs and found a lovely lamp for the living room and a nice Seasalt t-shirt. Went out for a meal last night so it was a spendy day but within budget. Meeting friend at a NT place today so low spends - tea and cake only:) Other meals will be from stores.
Woke up early so got the washing out to take advantage of the sunshine while it's here.
Hope everyone has a good day

PheoniX- I have 2 cats and they are lovely pets :)I don't have pet insurance & my cats like expensive Sh*ba cat food - I've tried other stuff and they just leave it - maybe I should have been tougher with them! I buy it from Mr T as it is nearly always on offer - 2 boxes for £7 plus some boxes had 50p off vouchers inside (not recently). I also buy the biggest bag of dried food I can find. Mind go outside and I only use a litter tray when i'm away and my friend looks after them.
Hope you get a kitten soon! DxLBM - October 2018; finally debt free on 16 March 2021

NSD No 3
We were at a christening today. The only people I knew were the baby's uncle, mother and one set of grandparents. I'm not great at social occasions at the best of times so was definitely out of my comfort zone. It was a nice afternoon though. Does it count as an adventure?
Dinner's almost ready. Just waiting for the boy to arrive. He went home to change. Never comfortable wearing a shirt!!Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
