Hugs for your dd dolly. It is so hard to see it happen, and well done to dd for her resilience.

    Happy birthday f0xh0les!

Today I am grateful for a dry day, a very helpful colleague, for a not-so-busy day meaning that I had time to move around slowly at work, for my knees mending, for dh prepping tea, for driving with the windows down.

    Hi all
    :j

    Happy Birthday Foxholes!!

Minimise: Minimising yet more brambles in the garden..note to self - do NOT wear short sleeves when doing this. Look like I've been attacked..

Bills Looking to get some secondary DG on our old windows to help with heating this place. This will be a long-term project IMHO. To that end: Quarterly water bill in today, now metered the cost is 1/4 of what it used to be, happy DH.

Clutter: Lots to clear before even survey to do windows could be organised. Keeping going with the clutter, a little every day. I WILL get this house cleared. More clearing done, hoping that the 'puddles' will eventually join into a lake..

Spending: Need to budget for groceries. Starting with £300 including pet food. Have receipt ready to file, but about £35/300. No spending today.

    Unnecessary spends None.

Waste: No waste today - DD turned up with some groceries & gifted me a couple of things from her fridge, also she brought soup & some packs of nuts etc from her pantry. I had some soup for lunch & she had leftover curry in a JP, then DH & I ate the rest of the curry for supper. Will make the chicken soup later.

    Maximise:
Dreams (dream big): Would like to fit the DG as mentioned earlier, also need the driveway doing but would be a very large amount of cash as it's so big....Clearing the clutter will help enormously with this, both financially & in the long term. Outside painting needed now, will be a big job & need scaffolding. This again will be £££. Listed some things on FB but no sales as yet.

Fruit and veg intake: Definitely need to increase F&V consumption, on this. Fruit with breakfast & some fruit throughout the day.

Getting niggly jobs done Painting inside & out, get builder to fit cowl on chimneys, get chimney swept, painting outside as well. All our jobs are niggly, but DH did get some outstanding ones done. Still need to see if the DW will work with the new hose he bought x weeks ago...will remind him yet again tomorrow.

Health: Lose approx. a stone & a half. Am trying with this, helps that DD is not here. Feel slimmer - does that count? Weigh in tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Meal Planning: Need to meal plan as tend to go with the flow, and it doesn't always work out. Have plenty of food in but still need to plan. Planned for tomorrow, rest of week needs sorting.

Moving more - Most exercise taken as gardening. Todays exercise was mainly gardening.

Time with those you love: Visit from friend tomorrow.

    NSD: now 9/15

Check in every day Here I am, hello folks

    Good morning Ninjas!

My top-up shop happened yesterday, so no NSD. Still on 8.

I've got this weekend to myself and I'm going to be super productive, getting lots of little things done, most of which being very MSE!

    Happy belated birthday f0xh0les!

I think I'm only on NSD 6/15. Haven't been doing too badly with spending though. Sorry for being awol but work has been absolutely mental = last two weeks of term.

I have had a lovely tax windfall and can't wait to update my savings targets once it hits my bank account. Summer is shaping up nicely, I am going to spend 1 week doing the camino de santiago and then go home and surprise my Mum in the UK. can't wait!!

Hope everyone is doing well, I'm off to catch up on posts.

    Happy Birthday f0xh0les.

Thanks for all the support re DD and her school problems, I phoned the school this morning and am waiting for them to ring me back as yesterday the girls accused DD of stealing from them.

Have cycled this morning and ran yesterday but still no luck shifting any of the half stone I've put on. Made muffins yesterday (that'll help the weight loss), they were strawberry, apple and oatmeal.

Got lots of jobs done yesterday but still have a list as long as my arm for today. Tried to change my tv licence from quarterly to monthly to avoid the charge they make for quarterly payments, what a farce, anyway I paid the whole thing for the year in the end so I can just forget about that now. Bought a vest/cami top type thing on ebay, BNWT M&S one, this was really needed as I wear them under my sheer blouses and mine have seen better days. It was from a private seller so still fits with my not buying new.

    Hi all

    Just checking in.

Today is not a NSD so still on 10 as I've decided to go shopping & do my weigh in tonight. I was planning on buying a new outfit for the funeral but I cant really afford one so my friend is going to lend me something instead.

Hub has had his pay slip go up online & it's more than expected :j So I have bought a few more bits for Christmas that I'll put away. I appreciate I sound insane but we cannot afford it all in one go & it helps to have a few bits hidden away

Did another 45mins last night on the bike, interested to see my weigh in results as I've changed the diet I'm following as the last one just wasnt working.

Hope you are all having a good day & dolly I hope the school call goes well!

Belated happy birthday wishes f0xh0les. .

Yesterday was a NSD up to 8 now.

Today well I have to get a copy of my marriage certificate(even though I am divorced years ago). Thought that was a bit of a con as original has to be filed with the courts so £14 sent to gov. Good news is that I have a tiny pension that will start later this year, didn't expect anything as only worked for that company for 5 years. Propose to take as much lump sum which should clear my mortgage which is under 20k and give me about 10k. Was dancing and smiling to myself all night last night as my job is set to finish in 2-3 years time. Will still have to find some income for that period but not having a mortgage will hopefully help me save a bit and have a holiday seeing last one was 7 years ago.

Today I treated myself to xmas pressie - tickets for a gig.

Other good news I went out on Saturday and came home and my jeans were dyed red - think the chair in the bar was freshly painted. Tried washing them no joy, anyway venue offered to pay for them. Luckily only Next ones.

Will get to grip with the rest of the challenge now excitement has dulled down.

My water rates gone up by £2 a month, less bathing and more showers. However nothing more relaxing than a bubbly bath - once a week now.

Trying to up my fruit and veg intake.

Need a list making of niggly jobs - tonights task.

    Have a nice day
