Hi all,
Just checking in.
Today was a spend day, as I knew it would be! We went to a family day at husbands work but we had a fab day & the cost was minimal. I bought the kids hot dogs, made a donation to the birds of prey there in exchange for a photo which I didnt mind, lucky dip at the air ambulance stall & bought a raffle ticket for another charity , we were there all day & there was quite a lot for the kids to do, bouncy castle, funfair , prizes so all in all I cant complain! I managed to win 3 Easter eggs which brings the total in our garage to 18...we will be making cornflakes cakes for years to come.
Used a coupon for more peppermint teas at Holland and Barrats, which I know seems crazy as I'm doing my best to get through all my fruit teas but peppermint is the only one I would chose to drink anyway & I enjoy
Did 45 mins on my bike :A, maybe need to mix it up and go for a run or something tomorrow.
Apple I'm glad your feeling better0 -
Today I am grateful for dh dropping me and dd off at sainz on his way out for the day so we got the gf/df stuff really quickly, for bumping in to a lovely friend outside sainz, for catching up with a friend who's having a really tough time while dd was at dance, for another chat with a homeless man and finding that he had a place to sleep and a place to shower and change, for smooth buses, for a good book, for a mad-busy-but-productive late afternoon/evening, for a hot bath.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Ran yesterday and will cycle today. Sky has some blue today so hopefully it will stay dry for a change.
Bought some elastic and cotton yesterday to make a skirt with DD for her DofE practical, I think we may get started on that today. Yesterday I found 2 more books for my reading challenge and a third I just fancied reading, they were 3 for £1 from a charity market stall. Also bought more clothes from the CS, all lovely items and cheap individually but it all adds up and I keep saying I must stop but never do.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
