What small DFW things will you do w/c 27th May?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!:money:

Morning Ziggy (and everyone) - thanks for starting us off this week.

I'm just back from a weekend of working in London, complete with a cold and feeling a bit rubbish. Typical for half term.
Not sure what my plans are for the day - I have marking to be getting on with and want to spend some time with the kids but there's nothing in particular. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Ziggy Thank you for starting this weeks thread :A
I'm hoping for a NSD but I may have to settle for a LSD, we are running out of milk, only enough left for a few cups of tea, and hardly any fruit, which is a major catastrophe as far as the resident fruit bat is concerned.
Plans for Monday:
PAD
Check banking
Make bread, proving as we speak
Make porridge, depends what we do about the milk, I know you can make it with water but I don't like it much
Plan an alternative breakfast if I don't make porridge
Request a library book online, free
Put a hold on an ebook on the library app, free
Borrow a book on the library app, free
Home educate the children for free
Turn off lights and appliances not in use
Meal plan
Write a shopping list
All food and drinks from storesFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Many thanks for starting us off Ziggy
Not masses going on here at the minute, can't get motivated.
Have been out to Tesc@ this morning, low spends, needed cat food tins which are still cheapest at Tesc@
but have a feeling it is going to be costly week. One cat to the vets for jabs tomorrow and I'm going to get an appointment for another as once I had got near her and managed to have a look at her teeth a couple are not very good and will need to come out
Very much eating from the freezer. Had alot of YS things in ready for DD coming home, first meals from them yesterday.
Have popped an aloo gobi in the slow cooker to use up left over bits. Didn't have all the spices I needed, so shoved in what I had. Smells okay so far!
Need to update spends book
Banking checked, everything good
Really need to sort out a frog that I have putting off for a couple of days now. Must do it tonight.
Still need to vacuum
Washing out but has turned cloudy again
Can't think of anything else for now. Have a great evening everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LPP we are with Pure Planet, sorry no idea how to over pay.
I have done everything on my list. Decided to make the porridge using UHT milk.
OH fitted the donated carpet to the stairs.
We decided not to have our planned meal as OH was going to cook but he was to tired. He suggested a take away, I managed to swerve this by retrieving a home made katsu curry from the freezer. NSD intact
Our planned meal we will reschedule for a few weeks time, nothing will go to waste as it would have been made from ingredients we always have in and regularly use. Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning m'ducks.... (a sure sign I've lived up here too long....!)
Today, I'll be doing a range of the following tasks:
Updating budgets, rubber chicken, making chicken & mushroom supreme, tomorrow's packed lunch, watering & feeding greenhouse veg, weeding out a bed ready for planting squashes out, sowing perpetual spinach, sorting laundry so as to iron only what really needs it, knitting socks for presents box (yarn stash project), entering 2 competitions, planting out my free summer bedding. How much I get done depends on how long some of the bigger tasks take & how many rain showers arrive.
I will also be getting my 7000 steps. I'm so busy in the garden this time of year, I achieve 7000 steps without even leaving my front door.
Have a good day, everyone.
