    Afternoon all :)
Been away for the long weekend, but no cost except for fuel and some food I bought to take with us :) Very tired though (too many late nights) so a gentle list today:
Porridge breakfast with a brown banana
Went to sales unit to tidy up and add a few new items. Could really do with restocking completely, but this isn't going to happen today!
Posted a couple of ebay parcels
Checked banks and updated spending diary
    Lunch was fridge bits

    Still to do:
Walk down to the vet's and pick up worm and flea treatment for dog. He doesn't have worms and fleas I hasten to add, but these are regular treatments so he doesn't get them. Cost is covered through monthly pet club membership, so no additional spends needed here.
A bit of gardening, depending on the weather - it is chilly and just a minute ago randomly rained.
Likewise washing - I did a load when we got back yesterday, which really needs to go out
Dinner will be a strange mixture of stuff that needs using up.

Just caught up with last week's thread, hope everyone is ok.

    Afternoon all:

    A few things today:

    * my £10 bet (plus 3 free £10 bets) made me a £2 profit on the Championship final yesterday so at least I got my £10 stake back plus £2.
    * LSD yesterday - hubby did the spending on birthday gifts for his dad
    * breakfast and lunch from stores. Picked up some sausages for tea and a few bits for the weekend away to save buying from the expensive campsite shop
    * lunch out tomorrow with in-laws for FIL's 90th birthday
    * haircut tomorrow for me and daughter but it's from my birthday money
    * dropping some of my mums clothes at a re-sell shop. She is sad to let them go but no need for them now and one outfit is from my wedding 12 years ago
    * check bank and update spreadsheet
    * make PAD

    Catch you all tomorrow

    Morning all
A doing day today, need to keep myself busy while waiting for the verdict after yesterday's interview. They said we'd be informed within 48 hours, so by mid-afternoon tomorrow I should know one way of the other!!
    Today I need to -

    - sort the Sky direct debit so that it's coming out of my new bank account. I've sorted all my other DDs, but this account is in my husband's name, so I thought it would make sense to have it transferred to my name. He tried to do that, but they wouldn't transfer it as is - I would effectively become a new customer and the price would go up. Still no reason why the actual money can't come out of my account, so I'll get that sorted today. Done
    - open a savings account in my own name, and deposit money in there for paying my tax in July. Account open. Will transfer the money later today.

    - start the process of changing my name on my various documents Decided to do my bank account first - rang them, and was told I need to go into a branch. Can I be bothered to do it today??
    - continue to chase edf about my smart meter (2nd generation, was supposed to continue working after I switched supplier, but it stopped). They've promised to get back to me later today. They won't. They did!! Nothing helpful, but at least they got back to me. It's a start.
    - gather together all my receipts for expenses in my volunteer role this month and put in my claim when I see the boss tomorrow. Done - I'm owed £21, so totally worth claiming!!

    - find images of 17th century male costumes (don't ask...)
    - dry a LOT of ginger (again...) it's in the oven

    - email the lodger who is moving in at the beginning of June and check a couple of things. He said he would be bringing his own bedding, but I need to check if that includes duvet and pillows. Done
    - empty the bins and put the bin out. I forgot to put the bin out 2 weeks ago, so it HAS to go out today! Done

Looks like the weather's improving for the end of half term. Looks like we'll be busy at the House tomorrow!!
No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...
