  • I might add there was no apology from them whatsoever! Quite frankly I would have thought it the very least they should have done for hassling me with threatening letters for over a year!

What, not even one of their patronising 'gestures of goodwill'? :D
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

These are ex-clampers (having changed their name a few years back, from NPE to NPE - different words making the acronym - they will probably say they are not!).

But the two companies shared directors, the same reading address etc., and they are and always were from a thug industry using clamping & towing to steal cars & hold them to ransom - now a criminal offence - so it is astonishing they can even string a sentence together, to be fair.

    in brief
Driver stopped for 5 minutes to purchase throat lozenges. Left as shop was busy and he had a parcel to pick up elsewhere. He has a copy of the delivery note.Driver returned in an effort to buy lozenges and left car park soon after. ANPR recorded 1st entry and 2nd exit (No restriction on any return visit )Turning into Car Park from the main road there is no visible signage. There is one large wall notice on an adjacent wall which cannot be seen unless entering from side road
