  • Thank you Coupon-mad- I'll be sure to read up on it just incase!

  • I have received a dodgy letter before claim from NPE there is no date on the letter & forms that give me 30 days to respond! I’m supposed to contact Credit Investigation Services, the bunch of cowboys who have been hassling me for months now demanding payment of £160. The last one had SUMMONS in a huge oarage box & gave me 72 hours to pay otherwise there was a list of 5 actions they might take against me. Issue a statutory notice to have me declared bankrupt, apply for a court order against my wages etc – is this legal?

Fortunately I know from reading on here this is not a genuine letter before claim! Thank you!

I have already requested & received a SAR BUT it only shows two photographs of my car & not the 4 there should be, the one of me entering the car park to drop of my friends & then collecting them again the next morning – so they are accusing me for staying overnight when I actually didn't even get out of the car or turn the engine off! Should I ask for another SAR with the correct photos or am I wasting my time? I’m sure they will say they are all the photographs they have! Lying gits!

I am very disappointed (but not surprised) that the hotel has never replied to the numerous letters/ emails I have sent them & my MP is next to useless & just the standard reply from him to acknowledge receiving my letter, he has no chance of my vote!

I would like to send some sort of (sarcastic) response to NPE to let them know I realise this is not a genuine LBC letter as they are seriously peeing me off now! Is this a bad idea?!

    Any suggestions appreciated

    Thank you

Keep the moral high ground , no sarcasm , a judge may see it

Reply to their SAR reply and tell them that you asked for all photos and as 2 short visits were made you know that the first outbound and second inbound photos have been withheld because there should be a minimum of 4 photos, insist on receiving all , repeat all photos and any other data they have failed to supply , under GDPR you are entitled to all data
  • Thank you Redx, I will heed your advice!

    Sage advice from Redx.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If it hasnt already been mentioned, smartphones recrod location data unless you ave turned this off completly, personaly i find this an incredibly useful function for planning trips/hikes/bike rides etc

In cases of double dps, such data can be used as another nail on the coffin for the parking companies, and those who allow them to operate on their land.

If it says "summons" then forward that letter to Trading Standards. That's a misleading statement and possibly illegal.

It's the same as all the other CIS NPE LBC threads this month - search the forum as much has already been said on half a dozen threads, all the same.

Unfortunately I must have had the tracking turned off on my phone (I make sure it’s on now!) As I have already checked (& checked again!) & there is no record on my google timeline for those dates. BUT I do have the whole conversation with my friends (arranging leaving the car here as the hotel parking was so expensive & about me to dropping them off & collecting them etc) on my messenger app. I have no idea if this is of any use but I’ve hung onto it just in case! All dates & times are on there, I thought especially useful might be the one from my friends saying they were ready to be collected few mins before my supposed last exit!
It’s so annoying as they would have normally stayed here but it was very short notice & we had other plans (we were going on holiday the following day & the spare bed was full of clothes & cases!) so we couldn't fit them in & anyway they knew this & had already booked the hotel.

    Very good evidence. Use it.
