I told you already they are getting scared now ....
They even propose to remove the October 31 deadline
Completely a different attitude. They are getting scared now

https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/17870548.eu-withdraw-current-deadline-brexit-remove-no-deal-option/

https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/political-parties/labour-party/gordon-brown/news/106177/gordon-brown-eu-ready-offer-uk

Just to remind why UK have no other option then to go for a no deal Brexit and why It is absolutely the right decision to go for a no deal :
- The current deal would tie the UK to EU rules and regulations indefinitely until EU say other wise.
- It would mean the UK will become a vassal state subject to rulings from the ECJ.
- It would hand over trade policy with no democratic accountability.
- Even worse, the UK would become the EU cash cow without any voice give some £30bn of taxpayers’ money without getting any agreement over the long-term trading relationship.
- The current deal has been rejected three times in the parliament.

Another good News:Conservative boost as new poll shows they hold 12-point lead over Labour

https://uk.yahoo.com/news/conservative-boost-as-new-poll-shows-they-12-point-lead-over-labour-113028148.html

The combine force of Tory and Brexit Party will win an overwhelming majority in the next GE. Corbyn knows that LibDem will steal from them, if there is a GE.

Can you quote the lines that back up your assertion? You seem to keep posting the same copy and paste list of links, none of which seem to agree with your claims about the eu getting scared.

They are signaling to remove the October 31 deadline without UK ask for it ..
Of course EU could only response on the actual request if UK asks for it and could not act on supposition. But hey they are nagging it now ....

They thought UK is bluffing to leave the EU by October 31, 2019 with or without a deal...
Compare it to when the negotiation was under Theresa May. She needed to beg for it ...

Also remember it was Macron who said he would block any UK proposal for UK extension beyond October 31, but now all of the sudden he is the person who suddenly proposes to extend Brexit deadline for six months without UK even ask for it. So what conclusion could be inferred from here ??

I remember a few months ago under TM negotiation a few of remoaners even said, EU saw the UK threat of leaving without a deal is a bluff as UK could not effort it. It is completely outrageous as the impact of Brexit will be much bigger on Ireland than UK while UK is much better prepared than Ireland.

One of the most outspoken one is Always_Sunny. If you search you might still find his post. I fully believe Always _Sunny is still in this thread or other current Brexit Thread with a different Profile Name. I could easily recognise from the writing style.

I'm kind of confused why so many forum users think that Brexit is going to happen. You need regulation that hasn't been passed just to keep everything as before. Just having the Blitz spirit and believing in sovereignty isn't going to cut it. If it's going to happen there needs to be a delay and we need to be adult about this.

This is only Gordon Brown’s assertion of course, but the story is about a change of attitude to the 31st October deadline within the EU. If true this seems to run contrary to the narrative that says the EU want rid pronto and no deal holds no fear for them. Was it Tusk who said that the U.K. must not waste the extra time they’ve granted us to get a deal sorted? Here they are now potentially volunteering to give the U.K. more time. Is the thought of no deal hitting home in Brussels now?
If not, what’s your explanation?

You make the case against no deal. No deal by definition means you leave without sorting the regulations that keeps everything as it was before.

If nothing happen UK will leave the EU by October 31, 2019 by default, no extra regulation needed. It could be kept as it is and extra regulation and regulation change could come thereafter. All Boris needs to do is the run the clock.

Boris has a few brain behind him. He himself is a brainer. After Brexit he might be remembered and written in the history as a hero who salvages this country before it turns to become a vassal state. TM is just the opposite. Keep in mind TM asked the parliament to sign her deal three times but got rejected.

They open their mouths and they lie:-
Sajid Javid repeatedly refused to discuss the sacking of his media adviser by Boris Johnson’s top strategist and insisted he had a “fantastic” relationship with the prime minister.

The Guardian reported that the chancellor met Johnson on Friday to demand an explanation over the reasons for Sonia Khan being dismissed on the spot without his knowledge.

Khan was escorted from No 10 by an armed police officer following a meeting with Johnson’s strategist, Dominic Cummings, after being accused of being dishonest about her contact with the former chancellor Philip Hammond and one of his ex-advisers.
Khan is the fourth young woman in a month to be axed from the prime minister’s network of advisers and senior staffers, leaving Javid without a media adviser before Wednesday’s spending review, where he will lay out details of a £14bn allocation for schools and new police funding.

Just to pick a hole in adindas' arguements, but actually if we want to trade with europe we will be tied in with some of their regulations.

They could quite easily refuse our goods by saying they don't meet EU safety requirements for the simple reason that they can.

Even after we leave we still need to work with the EU on issues, and still need a close relationship with them, but what we as a country need to do is strive to lead the way.

Without the shackles of geopolitical jockeying (germany can't tighten antifreeze levels on wine in case the french get upset) we propose rules and the EU (and other countries) says yes that looks sensible and follow.

The problem is that our passive politicians allowed other EU politicians to whip us into line and the brexit fiasco has shown a lack of inertia amongst the 'political elite'.

I don't like what Boris is doing but at least he is a man of action. Jeremy Corbyn bangs on that he has a plan once he becomes PM but noone knows what it is (i suspect him included). Sadly inaction onky makes the UK look weak.
May you find your sister soon Helli.

During the past three years we have all seen the desperate attempts of those who disagree with democracy try their darndest to overturn the result for no good reason other than that they disagree.
There is even a political party with the slogan "Bol locks to Brexit" which of course in effect means "Bol locks to democracy".

If right wingers I profoundly disagree with narrowly won a referendum instigated by a right wing party I profoundly disagree with to restore capital punishment I would campaign against that.

Sorry, but democracy is a participatory process. It doesn't just stop because you don't like opinions that don't agree with your own.

Contending legislation you disagree with and proposing an alternative is democratic. Reaching a compromise when the country is split down the middle is democratic.

It's you who doesn't seem to understand democratic process, because for you the only voice that may now be heard on this topic is yours. A view that would be heartily endorsed by the Chinese Communist Party.

3 years ago most of us accepted that Brexit would happen. Parliament voted to trigger Article 50 and since then there has been a discussion as to what that Brexit would look like. During this process the intransigent wilful intolerant ignorance of the Brexit camp has done more than anything to jeopardise leaving.

Brexiters have had 3 years to frame a vision of our Brexit future and you have come up with precisely zero trade deals, zero promises of alliances outside the EU, and a government that is now composed of or supported by far right religious bigots, racists, liars and misogynists.

It's not really surprising that you are being opposed.
