Thanks everyone for the nice comments
Just washed up and will try to keep the kitchen as it is. If I can get a plumber I can get a new kitchen tap and reseal the sink and fix the outlet. That will make a huge difference to using the kitchen and not feeling so bad. The plumber can also fit a new stopcock and a new outside tap.
I need to renew my search for a plumber. This is a FROG
Promise not to laugh and remember God loves a trier but I have had a new brainwave re a gym.Ok, I am gym averse but this is 5 minutes walk away. It will work out £3.17 a week and even if I use it just to have a shower 3 times a week I should be quids in. My bathroom has no shower remember…and in the event that I use it just for the cross trainer it will be worth it. Oh, and no contract. I will be paying £13 a month. I will join tomorrow on my way back from Tai Chi
I have a work meeting in town this afternoon. I meant to take a packed lunch out with me today but can’t find anything to pack so I will take some fruit, brazils and a coffee. I’m doing IF so eating within an 8 hour window, already my joints feel better and so does my digestive system. It is supposed to be good for blood sugar and the brain. Now to keep it up!

A great work meeting yesterday that helped clarify a few things for me.
Still on 1/15 NSDs for November. I was hoping to claim one today but I needed trainers so I can try out Box Fit on Thursday. I got the trainers. They are okay and will do for now.
I did a bit of my Tai Chi class but left early as the instructor talks non stop and it is the opposite of restful. I kid you not. There is no downtime from his incessant chatter. At one point he said to ‘go inside yourself and listen to your body’ I wanted to shout out ‘fat chance!’ instead of being rude I went for a walk.
A 45 minute walk today
I did not go to join the gym but intend to do it before the end of the week.
I made a lovely beef and red lentil chilli. Had some with a mix of cauliflower rice and brown rice. Froze some chilli too.
Tonight I will be cleaning and decluttering under the stairs and creating a clear, clean hallway. Feeling very tired so will watch a bit of rubbish TV

Great to see you stepping up a lot on your fitness and well being DIA
Boxercise will be demanding but if you persist with that , you will notice a big difference .
That tai chi guy sounds a bit wrong somewhere . It reminds me a bit of that very strange ad on tv that pops up sometimes, where this druggie pops up shouting deep relief . He looks like he could do with a wash . Hope your tai chi guy doesn't look like that . If so , run..:D0 -

What a shame the Tai Chi man is a chatterbox as it should be a very calming and soothing activity. Well done on the 45 minute walk :T.

The trainers I bought were worn today and they were so comfortable. I am looking forward to using them for box fit tomorrow
I was out today and took my food flask to save eating expensive rubbish outside the home.
I bought a soup bowl I can’t really justify the price but I had it 2 years ago and broke it and I’ve missed it ever since. I used a tiny HMRC refund so I am only £5 worse off if you see what I mean…;)
I also bought a teapot for £12.99 so today ended up being quite spendy.
I guess today was very non froggy so due a bit of frog eating I think…

Not too well today. Putting the day behind me and will try again tomorrow.
Will shop for iron, fruits, veggies and some good quality protein to tomorrow.
FROG EATING! Just called 2 plumbers and left a message. They were not personal recommendations but used a vetted site. I might get lucky... I found my roofer this way so it is possible.

Agree with the soup bowl logic, I like pretty thin china and don't bother eating if we only have the nasty thick stoneware left.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Excellent! I hope those frogs that you ate turn into something good. Sometimes you need to take a chance - you're really good at trusting your gut and following your own intuition so you'll be fine.
