  • Hope you are feeling better today DIA .
Don't forget to switch off and do nothing if you feel crappy .
You are attacking many things ,and obviously you will get up and down days .
Believe it or not , Everything will join up at the end as you are doing what's needed .
    Have a good day ..
  • Agree with the soup bowl logic, I like pretty thin china and don't bother eating if we only have the nasty thick stoneware left.
The bowl is joyful as is the new teapot :)

Excellent! I hope those frogs that you ate turn into something good. Sometimes you need to take a chance - you're really good at trusting your gut and following your own intuition so you'll be fine.

When you move house eventually, move closer to me. We have a small pool of trusted tradespeople nearby. You'll never have to look for a new tradesperson again! :rotfl:
Thanks HG. It isn't easy, but I think if I throw enough at the issue sooner or later something will stick...:)
Re moving. I'm liking Scotland more and more, beautiful country. I could do worse!!

You are right AC. I kicked back for a few days but I woke up in frog-eating mode today :)

  • I am becoming less afraid of the days when I step back, don’t eat frogs or seem to progress with my project work. It is okay. I seem to bounce back in my own time so panic is unnecessary. ;) I woke up today much more energised and feeling better. Yesterday I thought a migraine was on its way, but it didn't arrive. I haven’t had a migraine since I stopped my last job. (Just as you said AC!) I think that is because I can step back when I feel unwell so it doesn’t progress.

I bought some iron as I think my levels are slipping again.

Today I set up a S/O into an account because I want to have a holiday fund. I’m not saving much but it is a start.

I paid my energy bill and (FROG) arranged a new tariff to avoid being put on the standard rate. :T

(FROG) I knocked on a neighbour’s door and asked for tradespeople recommendations. He gave me a few leads including a B(Gas) plumber who is doing private work for another neighbour. He is coming to quote tomorrow :T

Wishing you all a relaxing evening :)

  • I think you're right not to worry too much about days when you don't perform muc. As long as you bounce back soon then that 's fine. Some days people can move mountains, other days they can't, it's as simple as that.

Well done for eating two frogs :).

  • I thought my ability to be comfortable with tradespeople had improved. Not so! Today I spent the whole day feeling stressed and nervy. I agreed he could come at 6pm. In future I must remember to book appointments first thing in the morning. The person who came cannot do what I need doing, but he has someone he can recommend so he has said he will pass on the plumbers details. He was here for all of 5 minutes and I have felt edgy for 9 hours. :o

The plus is the kitchen is super clean and lots of decluttering has been done.

It is so wet and depressing. It feels damp.

I said once the tradesperson has gone I would go to the shops but I won’t. I will write a list and go tomorrow instead. I will claim a NSD and watch Strictly as a plan B.

I hope you have all had good days :)

That's a good plan - either that or choose to do something else in the morning that will absorb your attention
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
