Thanks AC :) The appointments are only quotes. One for a plumber and the other a builder re fascias but hopefully something will work out.

Just made another appointment for a plumber. He will come on Monday at 8am :)

Upset tummy. Threw away cheese and yoghurt. When will I learn? :o (Have to admit the cheese was nice...)

  • I did it. I joined the gym. The lovely man let me off the joining fee and instead of an extra £11 I pay an extra £8. I am happy with that. I went searching for flip flops to wear in the gym, not easy to find in Winter. Got them! Now I am ready to get fit. I will be going in the morning. I can do hard things better first thing in the morning. Its weird but I am really looking forward to it. ;)

Walked for an hour in total today :)

I need to focus on my budget planning a bit more. I checked my accounts and was pleased to be ‘within budget’ okay, but I am 11 days away from my old pay day and only half way through the month if I am aiming for 1st of the month. All this feast at the start of the month then famine for the rest is getting silly...:o

I hope you have all had good MSE days :)

  • Shock! Horror! I have been to the gym and what's more I loved it, especially the shower bit ;) It was a bit sad to realise how flabby I have become :o
So, 30 minutes of exercise :) The plan is to increase it until I am doing a 45 minute session. There are circuits on Thursday and box fit on Friday. But the plan is to get into the habit of waking and going straight away. It's nice I don't need a coffee as I am so close to home I can wait.

I looked at my vegbox and will be letting it go as it seemed a bit pricey for what was in it this week. The saving will pay for the gym. I can always nab cheap YS veggies instead. They not organic but Ald1 do organic now and then. It will do :money:

Hope you are all having a good weekend :)

Wonky veg box in Morrisons seems a good buy.

Glad you made it the gym. Hope you got the quotes you needed and can book someone in. I sympathise with your pain in dealing with them all. We have a couple of tradesmen recommended by our neighbours and they have been fab. Still I am stuck in debating land on what replacement radiators to buy... Too many options these days...
