Foe years i have bought so much stuff from amazon if i have issue i return with item and ask the refund in amazon gift card so in GC alone amazon holds couple of thousands so i dont wanna risk that eitherSome debit cards will let you do a chargeback. Check with your bank. As for them closing your account would it be a great hardship given hanging on to it looks like costing you £1700?0 -
So you have thousands of pounds in gift cards resulting from returns you've made? :eek:so in GC alone amazon holds couple of thousands so i dont wanna risk that either
Am I the only one who finds Amazon's inaction not at all surprising in this case?
I'm amazed Amazon haven't already banned you...0 -

OP, have we understood you correctly? You have an Amazon balance of thousands arising from refunds? If so, is it possible that they are currently investigating your account and activity, hence their inaction in this case?0 -
Wasn’t there a person a while back that ordered an expensive laptop off Amazon and a separate pair of cheapy headphones. They claimed to have returned the very expensive laptop but Amazon said they’d actually received the headphones as a return. Poster was claiming that Amazon was scamming them.
There are a lot of very dishonest people around.0 -
