Have a lovely time, Kerry Woman :)

    NSD 2

Simplicity - have changed accounting system and new one means less paperwork going forward :T - it's taking me a while to set it up, but am sure it will be lovely when fully up and running. Had lovely catch up with favourite aunt this morning, too :D

Persevere - bank 'reward' received this morning - rounded up to £5 and transferred to hol fund - every little helps, and all that ;) Calories counted and logged and I still have some left for late night toast if needed :T Oooh - and got a (small) hourly rate pay rise for invigilating - all helps :)

Reduce - DS2 had an off-timetable day today, which involved cookery for part of the time. He's not fussed on what he made, so I will eat it (incorporated a small amount into my planned dinner, will eat some more tomorrow)

Invest - calories counted/ logged. Not enough steps so far, as have spent much of day sitting down.

2 nsd's and I'm utterly exhausted. 2 more work get ups then I can finally catch up on sleep. I'm feeling quite swamped if I'm being honest in terms of work I need to get done before I stop for Easter - means I'm not getting much else done outside of work.
Crossed 2 very large frogs off my list today though - one work one and one home one so I'm grateful for that.
Kerrywoman - have an amazing holiday!

Today I am grateful for our friendly garden robin, for dd talking to me, for getting some work admin done, for dropping off a couple of bags at the Sally Army, for knitting a fox mitten, for digging a couple of bags of compost in to the garden, for a yummy garlic-mushroom-bacon-omelette for my tea.

Small spends today - coffee (bad, I know, but it's the only time I socialise with the team and will keep it for my well-being). I'm not 100% at work, the little things make up for it a little. I did bring my reusable cup which will mean I get a free coffee every time I collect ten stamps and I get an extra stamp each time for bring my own cup. Coffee is always allocated in my budget.

Also spent £1.25 on a bottle of squash for work which should last me a while.

Simplicity - enjoying a red hot bath this evening. Must take time out to relax.

Persevere - my kitchen feels unusable at the moment - my dining room table and rug are covered in pots and pans. I can't continue painting until Friday - so I will to put up with it. There is light at the end of the tunnel but this is a very long tunnel!

Reduce - had to bin a soggy pepper, but I have got through some onions and yogurt which was nearly past its best for dinner. I'm trying to get through it all!

Invest - in me time, which I am doing tonight!

I have walked today, total of 7,000 steps which is better than nothing. All food logged into MFP, I am over on calories but trying to get back into the habit of logging everything before I try anything else. It will make me more mindful.

  • Hi all

Simplicity - think about the simple pleasures in your life which you really appreciate, friendship, family, cake. Focus on those this month as much as you can.
I've had a busy day and didn't have a lot of opportunities for simplicity. I have ate healthy today. Spent some time with one of my besties at the gym.

Persevere to reach your goal can sometimes seem never ending but try to remember that each time you waste money/time it can take you further away from what you really want for the long term.
I've updated my food dairy. I've been to the gym this evening to booty blast. My booty certainly feels blasted:rotfl::rotfl:It was a tough class.

Reduce - I wouldn't be me if I wasn't asking you to reduce. Think about what you really need and what will be left at the end, is there a better way to consume.
    Dinner from the freezer.

Invest- in yourself, your family, your home - the things that really matter to you.
Spent some time with DD cuddling and chatting

New - new month, new beginning. Don't look back at past mistakes and failures, there is nothing that can be done about them, learn from them and move on.
I will give this some thought.

Grab - take life by the horns. Do something which takes you outside of your comfort zone at least once this month.
I live rural and there is a mountain I would like to climb, a bit of a challenge I hasten to add.

    2/15 NSD

    Good night. Xx

Invest - Went to a kettlebells class today.

15 NSDs - NSD today and yesterday so 3/15.

Pay to your debt/savings first and move forward from there. - Done.

Have a budget and stick to it. - YNAB updated with this month's budget.
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.7.25 - £106,653.66

    Hi all :j

Simplicity - think about the simple pleasures in your life which you really appreciate, friendship, family, cake. Focus on those this month as much as you can (maybe not too much cake though). Appreciate friends but Wednesday visitor is away so a full free day today, appreciate the time to do things here.

Persevere - I know that trying to reach your goal can sometimes seem never ending but try to remember that each time you waste money/time it can take you further away from what you really want for the long term. Persevering in garden as it was mainly fine, with the odd hailstorm. Got final bit of fence painted & several plants put in. Cleaned up mess from pruning, am trying to concentrate on one area at a time as little & often won't cut it in the garden, no need to spend as have plenty plants/seeds/paint etc etc.

Reduce - I wouldn't be me if I wasn't asking you to reduce. Think about what you really need and what will be left at the end, is there a better way to consume. Need to reduce food waste which is not really bad, but could improve. Taking stock of fridges is the first step for me. Have not done fridges but will do tomorrow morning. Also ate HM pasta bake for lunch which DD took to work - twice - & had no meal break to eat it, so brought back. Was fine & no food wasted.

Invest - in yourself, your family, your home - the things that really matter to you. Have lost a couple of pounds last week which is a relief as I had crept up into the next stone bracket & that is definitely not good. Have loads of clothes that would look better if I lost weight too, so that's an incentive as I'm not buying any more. Have mainly stuck to plan today & hopefully it won't be too bad even with the meal out tomorrow.

New - new month, new beginning. Don't look back at past mistakes and failures, there is nothing that can be done about them, learn from them and move on. Trying not to beat myself up every day about what doesn't get done. Really hard. Think I need to make a note of what's been done in the day or cross off a list to see how much does actually get done.

Grab - take life by the horns. Do something which takes you outside of your comfort zone at least once this month. Have to give this some thought...Have a project in mind that will be challenging. Also am going to attempt some sewing - how daring!!

    NSDs: Now 2/15

Pay to your debt/savings first and move forward from there. Attempt this - not as yet.

Have a budget and stick to it. On the list...still.

NO spending in coffee shops, work canteens, vending machines. If you do it needs to be planned in advance and budgeted for. Never go in coffee shops, no canteen, don't use vending machines either. But I still waste money! Have a planned meal out on Thursday lunchtime for a celebration & might go out tomorrow, ooh the excitement. We had snow forecast though..Didn't go out today but took advantage of DD not being here to get loads done. Planned day out next Monday, plus lunch tomorrow.

    Go turtles!!
