Has anyone had more than £5 discount from T Mobile re this issue, and what phone number or email address did they use.

Yes, T-mobile has also allowed some customers to drop to a lower price plan (with the obvious lower minutes). As I mentioned earlier in bold, contact customer relations since they seem to be the only ones who are authorised to do this.

    Their e-mail is cust.rel (at) t-mobile.co.uk
  • I received my call last night from Vodafone.

I originally sent an e-mail about 8 days ago, anyway, the chap that called (Danny) first of all stated that they were not obliged to lower my tariff, but as a gesture of goodwill, he could immediately allow me to retain the 500 inc minutes & texts, but lower my tariff from £35 to £17.50, which will then remain until the end of my contract in May.

Well done Vodafone, I will definately consider staying with them after May.

Exactly what happened with me until i received a letter thanking me for renewing my contract for 12months (which i didnt).
Mine should end in May 08 but the letter states Nov 08.
No one is able to help me on this apart from the team that called me in the 1st place.
Ive been waiting on a callback from them for over a week now.

    Hi

I am hoping some-one can help. I have been ringing Vodafone every few days to ask some-one to ring me back renegotiate my line rental from £35 (I took it out on a 12 month cashback deal through Phoneboxdirect). Apparantly all customer services can do is email the department dealing with this. I must have rung up about five times, and no-one has rung me back yet. I am at the end of my tether and don't know what action to take next. Does anyone has any ideas?

    Thanks
    Sara

I rang them on the 26th Nov and still not had a callback. I called again yesterday and asked them to check I was on the callback list and was told I was but that they were mega busy etc. I will wait a few more days and see.

I cancelled my 3 contact a few days ago, ends 22/01/08. They never offered any help and none was asked for.
They did go on and on about how I never took out the contract with them and that it was through a dealer, despite me telling them I knew all this and it was nothing to do with them. They did try to distance themselves from CNM, and then tried to offer me a few deals as a "valued customer" , which I declined.
So, just waiting to see if I get offered one of those £5 deals in about 5 weeks time, or I will weigh up the deals available at the time.
