Has anyone recieved a text message from vodaphone saying that they are a valuable customer and are entitled to a limted time offer and will be getting a phone call in the next day or so about it?
I am one of the customers that was affected by phonebox direct and i have rung up quite a few times and they have said they will ring me back, but instead i got this txt
I also received a text message and a subsequent phone call (not connected with the 'Phonebox Direct' liquidation) - offered me half price anytime rental £10.00 for the remainder of my term and a free phone. I telephoned to accept the offer and was told there was no record of it on my file. Have now received two calls from Vodafone offering the £17.50 rental for the remainder of my term (was told that this was automatic, but the person who called today had no 'record' of anyone phoning previously).
So, keep your phone switched on - you might get quite a good deal.:icotbaske0 -
Someone posted some pages back on this forum about the phone call relating to a new phone and limited offer. I believe it was ascertained to be spam. If you google the number it came from you may be enlightened a bit more. I haven't personally received it thankfully.0

there doesn't seem to be a number associated with it. The message contact name say vodaphone and there is no reply number or any other number to ring. I did recieve a text like this previously which had a number on it and was spam. bit confused on this.0

Hi,
Does anyone have the number to call to cancel the Insurance that PBD direct gives when you take out their contract? Since the site is gone I cannot find it.
Thanks.0 -
Yes, the number for the insurance cancellation (from the Service Agreement) is 0870 333 4832 - I put it into "Saynoto0870" and came up with 01270 658600 and it worked. The company seems to be called Lifestyle Services Group.
Hope that helps.0 -

Make sure you cancel the direct debit with your bank, I'm sure the insurance co. will then contact you!0 -
When I phoned up to cancel my insurance they told me it was sufficient enough just to cancel the direct debit and there was no need to phone them direct. Not the normal stance but apparently they are fine with just a cancelled direct debit.0

I finally remembered to call Voda about PBD going bust last night. Only rang at about 7pm but got a call at 12 today offering half price on my £35 tariff. Gave me the option of til the end of my contract or extending for a full 12 months. Was happy with til the end of June
Seems like this is their standard offer now.
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0
