Do you mean this bit:THE NAME AND POSTAL ADDRESS OF THE KEEPER (OR THE HIRER/LESSEE) GOES HERE.
THE DRIVER IS NOT IDENTIFIED.
You are the keeper.
You may not be the Registered Keeper, but you are nevertheless the keeper as defined in POFA2012.0 -
Where did I say I was the keeper?0
-
either your company or similar named you as keeper to MET, hence why you would have received a postal notice as hirer or lessee (day to day keeper) or when you appealed the company pcn (the company should have named you as lessee/hirer/keeper to MET so that you received the PCN in your own name because it was passed on, so when you appealed it you became the de-facto keeper because the company gave it to the day to day keeper to deal with and that person appealed it
your name is not on the V5C, hence you are not the RK , that is possibly the company or a hire or leasing company, plus the owner could be say Barclays or Ford Finance or whoever

Are you perhaps appealing on behalf of someone/something?
Also, you would be wise to edit those of your posts that tell the world who was driving.
The parking companies trawl this forum just waiting for people to trip themselves up and can try and use your posts against you.0 -
Has the POPLA rejection letter been addressed to you as a person, or to the company again, at their address?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Coupon mad.
The original PCN was sent to my company. My company has had no correspondence nor communication with MET. It was my company that forwarded the PCN to myself.
The appeal was sent by me, via met webs appeal. I filled the form in with registered keepers address ( my company) But did not put my name on the form as driver.
MET has no clue of any driver of the vehicle. Just a letter saying, the keeper was not driving and would not say who was driving. Etc etc. I will post al copy of appeal and reply later as I need to access my PC.
Thanks0 -
P.s
The appeal rejection was sent to my email. ( That doesn't bare my name) Not to my company.
In short, MET think they are communicating with my company.0 -
In short. My company won't appeal. They'll just make me pay the fine. So I'm simply doing it on their behalf. So I personally avoid costs.
Sorry. Edit isn't working for me.0
