hi
thanks for your reply. it seems like i am in a no win situation.i would love to leave orange but i am only a couple of months into my 18 month contract so it would cost me loads to buy out.i am a single parent and wouldnt be able to find the money.
thanks again for your help gill0 -
This may seem a daft question but please bear with me.i have just left Orange(thank god) still arguing with them over payment but that's another story.
I have always recieved all emails into Outlook express and am not of course sending any to my old freeserve email adress but still recieving them ,mainly rubbish now and have nearly finished changng all i want to over to my new email address. However Orange still have me on PAYG which i am not of course using.
My question is,if and when they ever wipe me from their system, which i wish they would, what will happen to the emails that get sent on the old address, and will any that may still be important now,be wiped or does the fact that they are through Outloook express make that irrelevant?0 -
they would get bounced back m80

hello hello
Heres another one, ppp server is currently down. Only been conected for about 2 weeks and already hit problems. I emailed them nearly a week ago about problem getting our wireless talk to work and as of yet no response. Anyone else think that they are in breach of contract here and we could get out of paying on the remainder of the contract. In all the years we were with blueyonder/telewest/virgin we never had a problem, we've been with these clowns for 2 weeks and already our connection is down.
I'm really annoyedMatched betting profit since 11th June 2006: £613.880 -

Hi gillo7
Remind Orange that a contract works both ways tell them you will report them to Ofcom and the ISPA i'm sure Orange are used to that by now, they cannot keep you locked in a contract if they are not providing the service you signed up for.*Steve*

I am with Orange for more than a year...all of a sudden I got disconnected 3months ago. After a week, I got reconnected. Since then the speed is not what it used to be! Also I couldn't use internet phone!
Not an exaggregation......I would have called Technical Team more than 100 times. They keep saying that there ia s fault on my line and the Engineers are working on it?
I wanted to comeoff Orange but the Customer Services want a note from Technical Team that they cant sort this problem............whereas the Technical Team keep saying that they are looking into this!
To be frank, the Technical Team [call centre in India] have limited access to information/ have no clue............At one stage I was asked to empty Recycle Bin to improve speed! So I dont believe them anymore!
Where do I go from here?
Has anyone had/have similar problem in Leeds area? [as I was told they were upgrading the whole system]

Not much help to you I know but this morning I received a letter from Orange saying they're closing my broadband UNLIMITED account because i'm using too much of the UNLIMITED bandwidth. Apparently I'm using more than 40GB per month, and that's not allowed even though I'm not on the 40GB capped account. Yes I know about the Fair useage policy and I turn off all downloads during peak times but apparently that's good enough.
When I first signed up to Orange Broadband it took them 3 months to get my speed up from 0.1Mb to anywhere near the 5Mb I was paying for.
I guess the only plus side is that now I can get a better ISP without waiting another 10 months for my contract to end.
Any recommendations for an "unlimited" ISP?The trouble with common sense is... it isn't really that common!0 -
