If I were you I'd remember the bank accounts and forget the scales."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

I wish I had some long forgotten bank account with hundreds of pounds in it. Alas no...
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

It was ages ago when I set up all the savings automatically and I sort of forgot about this one.If I were you I'd remember the bank accounts and forget the scales.
I am buying new scales :rotfl:crazy_cat_lady wrote: »

Random thoughts on a Sunday Morning
a friend texted this morning, she is in a terrible state and under an enormous amount of strain. She was messaging me because we have been friends for long long time - I love her to bits she is family and she knew I would get it.
And she was right, we both lived in homes where you couldn't express feelings freely, and unfortunately she has married a man who appears not to cope when she is upset or frightened or stressed, she is the strong one (I appreciate the whole point of being with someone is that you are team and you both play whatever role is necessary at the time) and things have been SO hard for her recently. I think they may improve but I am seeing her tomorrow to be sure.
Anyhow the point of me blurting this out on here! is that I should appreciate and remember that I need my time alone - she doesn't get any same as a lot of people with a family. I must make an effort to be alone once Mum comes back because I don't get any then at all. Even writing on here becomes something she questions.
Also it made me wonder a lot why I have avoided relationships ....hmmm.
Anyhow today is hopefully house cleaning and tip day! Exciting huh?
Bathroom first..

I didn't see this before, Honeysuckle I think my next job will be part time. Currently my school is struggling to be fully staffed and are reluctant to let people go part time.

I can really relate to your friend who has to be strong with no apparent support - this is me. Good that she has you to be there for her.
I wish you could get sorted work-wise.

thank you SA Xxxx I worry about both you and her, I honestly don't know how either of you do it. It is what comes of having to I suppose. XX
I came home from work early. I had a nap, as in I went to bed for an hour with the dogs (!)
Am now watching a film called Widows. Violent but I am sticking with it. It has the woman from How To Get Away with Murder in it and I like her. In fact in that programme I want to be her!Nevertheless she persisted.0
