  • Ponders.

I am house cleaning this weekend for the Mothership's return. I have a lot to do.

Half term is in two weeks. why she couldn't have gone a little later and come back after half term I don't know!

I am pondering a new diary as well. but maybe I will wait for the new year. See what Brexit does..

  • Build in a treat this weekend so it isn't just cleaning :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 100/1000
    Buffer fund 0/100

Baked brie and a film Mortal Engines :)

Am shattered but the place looks a lot better. Not my normal standard but am a little tired of slogging my guts out only to have to do it every single time Mum goes away. I know obviously it is 50% my mess! but I can't make much progress on one day a week.

Got a few bits to do tomorrow. but otherwise ok.

  • Rough week.

    Glad tomorrow is Friday.

I upped all my standing orders so I am now saving 500 a month for known expenses (Summer, Christmas, Insurance, house, Unknown account) plus 200 for the house.

I have used my CC, Dog grooming, pet shop spends, cardigan for wedding and my subs to Netflix, Audible and Office. I am going to cancel Audible this month, I just listen to Harry Potter on repeat!

total is 133 but I have 150 left so am ok.

i have also upped my expenses so I won't need to use the CC next month.... Fingers crossed.

  • Today was awful.

Everything is immensely wearing at the moment, something !!!! happened at work which has upset me hugely and then home wise the heating has gone to pot and various (and I do mean various) other things went wrong.

I am afraid I am feeling full of self pity tonight. But at least I have a day to myself tomorrow.

Today I survived, tomorrow I will make progress.

  • Thanks ladies XX

I have emptied the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned out the rabbits, guinea pigs, walked the dogs, hoovered upstairs, picked up meds from the vets, dropped off a prescription, picked up an argos order, decluttered about 6 bags of stuff from the spare room, mum made tea and I have just sat down. I did stop for lunch and watch a Hercule Poirot with Mum so it wasn't so bad.

I have earache and my back is agony -tho it was better when I was moving.

The low point came when I shouted at the dog for weeing my room. I really shouted. Felt bloody horrendous.

He always does it when I put something new in the room and he had sneaked upstairs.

    Ugh.
