  • I really wish you could control or switch off the things that bothered you. I mean why when I realise I am being irrational don't I stop feeling bad??

    Anyhow!

In an attempt to divert my brain I logged on to check the savings

I have renamed accounts (always makes me feel I have "done something":rotfl:)
    (Spending money - 480)

    1. Christmas - 600
    2. Emergency (formally insurance and emergency)- 750
    3. Vets, Insurance, Car - 300 (formally the Penny a Day account)
    4. House - 250
    5. ISA - 2426 (soon to be 2626)

    Total savings - 4526

Still not at the magic 5000. Hopefully will get there by the end of the year? (but then I will I have spent for Christmas!)

The plan now is to pay 100 (200 to ISA) each every month

plus a 100 to the TSB account and the mystery Sainsbury's account(not looked at the balances) . Things are changing. They can and they must.

Have a good one folks XX

Just checked the TSB account. Couldn't help myself.

    600 pounds.

    SO until Christmas I have I 4626 + 600 = 5226 in total.

    That is good.

  • I am sorry I keep posting. Don't know what else to do. I feel so bad today. so low.

Money is the only thing that is working out. Which is good. Don't get me wrong. But everything else just feels a mess. I need to put these feelings into doing something. My room I think. I have tea to finish and then I will have to get on.

I can't keep on like this. Too sad when I have a lot to be grateful for. I just can't see it now.

  • Lots of love Buffy. Is the weather good enough for you to get out for a very short walk? That may make a difference.

  • It is all the things you all have warned me about whilst I have been determined to make things work and help Mum the extra strain of my sisters situations are just too much for me manage on my on. Mum is utterly miserable and I can't deal with it anymore. I need someone else to come and take the reins. And there isn't anyone now. It is just all so stupid. And there is just too much for one person. I know everyone copes and so will I but not today or tomorrow. I am making improvements, money for a start and work - speaking up was a good move, one i wouldn't have made a few years ago. I haven't got any more pets to tie me down. But it is all so slow. And on days like this it is just not enough to stop me dipping into the miseries.

    And I HATE cooking programmes.

    And Rugby.

It's a hard one, you know what you need to do, you're making plans and at some stage it will all come together.

But...and I know you know this already, you could just jump and deal with the consequences later. Find a rental place, get out of the situation with family and start having the life you want and deserve.

You can still be there for your family but having your own place to go back to afterwards will improve your mental outlook no end.

I know renting isn't something you want to do but realistically, how long can you continue to live like you are.

I totally admire your relentless need to make sure your mum and family are ok but you can do that from a distance too. I have no idea how you manage to keep going with work when you feel so trapped in every area, it really does show how determined you are not to let others down.

But, and again you know this, you deserve the same consideration as you put towards everyone and everything else.

I'll keep saying these things to you cos you're wonderful and I can't wait to see you properly happy. (Also I know that you won't take offence because I'm wonderful too ;) )

In other news, I've run out of matchmakers.
