I have been here for a really time, got out of debt twice and then got in debt again! It is like a hobby.........a really crap limiting unsatisfying hobby!
Currently I am 4841 pounds in debt, don't own a house and have about 1000 across very various accounts for insurance, Christmas, the Summer etc.
In thirty months I aim to have paid off the debt, have 10,000 saved up - some in a help to buy ISA (6000) and some in various saving accounts.
Ideally I will have more savings, but the 30 months is effectively 200 for the debt and 200 for the house, the debt will be paid off before that and then that gets saved somewhere.
This will be achieved by August the 25th 2021.
Well.
That is it. There is the plan.
Love Buffy XXX
Thanks people XXX happy new year to you all XX
Just a little round up of the year
I am on track for August 2021 which is good.
Scores on the doors for the end of 2019
1000 in the Emergency fund (1100 tomorrow)
2800 in the H2B (will be 3000 tomorrow)
550 for vets, insurance and house. (will be 750 tomorrow)
I have 700 saved to pay the Christmas CC and will take 180 out of my spending money this month to cover the rest of the bill (tights, bras etc)
I have 300 in the TSB account (400 tomorrow)
I have made my goal of 5000, apart from the 3000 the rest will be spent for various reasons.
I am kinda thinking an emergency fund of 3000? perhaps condensing some of the accounts?
So from a money point of view, things are good.
Work is ok, stressful. but doable. Home isn't good but I think that is my focus this year. It being a new decade is quite a wake up call. I will start a new diary tomorrow - well later today
Love to you all of you XXXXX
I have upped the target for this year to 10000. Bit steep but hey we shall see.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

New Diary above.
I have spent a quite frustrating day starting things and not being able to finish them. The tip was closed (!) The horror! I can't sort out the accounts the way I want and I am so tearful cos of my stupid period it is ridiculous! The recycling nearly made me cry!
any how now for a catch up on the diaries and some matchmakers. XXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Sorry you are tearful and the tip was closed.
I love Matchmakers. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
Emergency fund 0/1000
Buffer fund 0/100
