Hello
sorry I have been disappeared. Work is somewhat hellish and home life has been tough, had to have one of the rabbits put to sleep and I am feeling somewhat battered by events.
Moneywise, it is grim. the MOT and Tax are due. I do have the money saved but also had to pay vet fees so it is a bit squeaky. The Magic account is now down to 200 pounds and everything else is 100. I am considering a different approach to the savings in the New year. I can't believe this year and the two preceding it have been so rubbish over all and although am out of debt I am not much further forward.
Anyhow I am going to aim to save 800 pounds a month, I am managing 700 at the moment. But I need more. The house ISA will be 3000 at the end of the year but everything else gets used up so it is just topped up - which is good, cos it works but I need a couple of months without any surprises to build a cushion.
I am lucky to be out of debt and very lucky to afford the vets. Realistically I need to find a better paid job if I want to loads save more but until then some simple living is needed.
hope everyone is ok XXNevertheless she persisted.0 -

The election is a shambles. AN UTTERLY SHAMEFUL Shambles.
Work is a shocker. I have loads to do. And can't be arsed with any of it.
My car needed work.
I am glad it is Friday, but need pick up the car by 9 am tomorrow, do some shopping, come home and rearrange my room, gather more stuff for the charity shop, try and shot of a chest of drawers.
Sunday I am feeding my friend's cat, going to the tip and then working all afternoon.
Next weekend I am going out. For the whole weekend! am sick of chores!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Sorry to hear about your rabbit
We get so attached to our fur babies
Can't give any advice on saving as I'm rubbish at it despite good intentions. £700 a month is a massive amount to save in my eyes, I think you're doing better than you give yourself credit for xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hello
I have not gone out at all - unless you count all night at A and E. Mum was ill yesterday, turned out to be a side effect of her meds, but she isn't much better today. If she is still as bad tomorrow I will call an ambulance. A 6 hour wait for a doctor and freezing cold walk back to the car at five in the morning, only to be called back to do it all again because the doctor didn't take the canula out was a real nightmare. Poor mum so stoic put up with it all whilst I mentally decided that I need to investigate private healthcare and pray that the tories don't win next Thursday.
I have a banging headache and am a mess due to lack of sleep
Catch you all when things are better. XXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
