  • I am slightly feeling like if I think about things too much I will collapse under the strain of all that is in my head.

Instead I will concentrate on the facts.

I have paid off my CC bill with my emergency fund... this is becoming a habit but the vet bill and the cost of the speed awareness course are sort of emergencies.

Work sucks but there are only 9 more days of it I think.
    House is a TIP.

new rabbit going well. I think my girl is a bit confused by it all.
Mum is pretty good all things considered.

Off to eat rice pudding. love to you all XXX

  • the only rice pudding i like was made many years ago by my mum

  • I know a lot of people don't worry about politics but being a teacher who has always worked with students who are in serious trouble and now having elderly family members who are in frequent need of the NHS last night's result terrifies me. I can't quite believe it really.

I understand someone will say oh we get on in spite of the politicians and we will be alright. Ok, I will wait and see for that.

I am so sad to be leaving the European Union. So sad.

I came home from work with horrific headache and went to bed. work has been rough but with some good bits.

I have loads to do and am sort of thankful for the distraction as for me everything is pretty crap!

    see when I feel better.

  • I know what you mean Buffy and I am sorry we have the result we do not only because I don't trust Boris as far as I can throw him but because I hate the idea of Brexit. We truly are little Englanders now. I feel for the more vulnerable in this country too and anyone who depends on public services as I don't think another 5 years of austerity will be bearable for some.

    Hope you feel better soon.

  • Hello all xx

Yes SA I think you are right. All !!!!!!s all the time!

Another !!!! weekend in the Buffy household. One plus new rabbit is still lovely, and I got my washing done.

The rest of it was spent doing stuff like prescriptions, posting, shopping, collecting, visiting, cleaning, I would say about 70% for other people.

I still have work to do, I was hoping to do it in a tidy room on my own but unfortunately I allowed Mum's negativity to get to me and I gave up. It is AWFUL, bordering on horders. But all she does is moan and moan and moan and I am tired. And I have a heck of a busy week this week. Plus next Saturday I will have to do the normal shopping and Monday the Christmas dinner pick up . And I will be hungover cos by then I will need a sodding drink!!

My shopping would be finished but for the crapness of the argos website.

    xx

I bought a really useful gift wrap roll size box with my 5hopn'5scan vouchers because I was so fed up of them never staying where they were propped or fitting anywhere - and I don't regret it :D
