Sorry you feel everything is ugh :(

Do you need to register as a carer for your mum? Sounds like you are in some respects and you might get some help.

Hope you get some rest tonight and tomorrow is another day - big hugs xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • thanks SA XX

Had a chat with a friend about work which did me good, I have a lot to do! and I am going to go out tomorrow night.

It is just what to do tomorrow day time. Sounds pathetic but if I do the shed I will be knackered! but if I don't do the shed I can't make any progress.

    And I must make progress!!

  • Breaking the task into smaller parts helps. If I look at the total number of brambles at the allotment, my heart sinks, but doing half an hour here and there helps and I can see progress in the areas I'm chopping back. Can the same be applied to the shed? If worry about mice is a problem, can you take a dog with you? If you can get a hoover out to the shed, try hoovering the worst of the cobwebs to ease any concerns about spiders etc.

    Have a good day.

  • Think you just need a break Buffy - at the moment you're just constantly swapping stressful things. Work then home, then work again etc. You don't ever get any time just to be you and relax and switch off. You're not ungrateful - you're burning out
  • Instead of getting up this morning I did jut go back to sleep. Woke up feeling dreadful tho. Walked the dogs, checked my money. Bit annoyed to be overdrawn as both mum and sister need to pay me -don't get me wrong I didn't have enough money in the account but I only spent a fiver yesterday! All manner of text messages came through and I moved money over to cover it. They will pay me.

I will do an update tomorrow money wise, but my CC bill is 877 but that includes all Christmas spends (800 budget) and me buying tights, bras and fish stuff so about 100 of it should come out of my spending money.

I start my new budget tomorrow. We shall see how that goes. I will most probably start a new diary

Trying to sort out car insurance. Do I need to protect my no claims bonus? It is loads less then last year. Weird.

Happy New year people and thanks as ever for everything XXX

  • Hello

    Happy New Year!

I did a couple of hours in the garden yesterday, filled another 4 bags and gather a pile stuff that can go to the tip (my hobby it would seem!)

I had a better look in the shed and fingers crossed it is not that bad. Most of it I stored in plastic boxes which is good as it won't be damaged like the first lot!

Some can be donated or recycled, a few things to sell that don't take up much room So that was good.

I had dinner with Mum and then went to my best friend's house to see in the new year. I love my friends both in real life and on FB, I honestly wouldn't survive without them. It was a very good laugh.

I will start a new diary but not yet. Just going to look at my finances.
