Phew - all is well - thanks guys!
Essentially I was a little bit worried because my period was 5 days late and I'm normally very regular. No real reason that I should be pregnant but it made me a bit nervous
Needless to say, I'm not up the duffLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Hello :hello:
I'm back! After illness, exam marking and hols - it's been a busy month or so. Still busy, but nowhere near what I have been doing. Hoping that you're all doing well.
Sorry to hear about your dh BB - the flu and related infections have been horrific this winter (in spite of the weather). I hope he's on the mend very soon.
CLF - so pleased you're not 'up the duff' if you don't want to be :rotfl: Maybe you're a bit stressed out about something?
Well, in spite of being MIA for a month or so there isn't much to report. I'm waiting for money for exam marking to arrive (fingers crossed) and I've been sorting through finances - looking to shuffle things about a bit to cut back on interest and save money here there and everywhere. The financial stress rumbles on, and whilst I'm divorced the house and finances are not settled as yet and I'm not getting any child maintenance at all. So the legal costs also continue, and my ex remains completely head-stuck-in-the-sand refusing to do anything and making everything more expensive...
In terms of small stuff, I have batch cooked and frozen some home made ready meals to try and save time. Heating is well and truly off basking in these temperatures as well
Not much else really, I'm just back at work and have survived day 1 but am very tired. Just about to book an online shop with Mr S for payday - Thursday I cannot wait! Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

hahaha carrie - I think you've forgotten to add "reusable sanitary products" to your list

CCL what a bother. I'd be sooooooo annoyed at my ex still being in the driving seat of my finances! Hope it all gets resolved soon xDF as at 30/12/16

Many thanks for starting us off this week PF
Dawni hope everything goes okay at the hospital tomorrow
BB hope OH is beginning to feel better soon. hearing a lot of nightmare pneumonia horror stories at the minute and it being difficult to shift.
Have been mainly MIA last week due to having a bad time with health. bored of going back and forth like a yoyo to the doctors and there were a couple of times i nearly ended up in hospital.
But i live to survive the tale and funding is now back in place for me to go back to my specialised treatment, just waiting for an appointment-relieved and happy.
Just catching up on my banking and checking everything okay. Just couldn't do it last week.
Quidco checked
Trying to get charity auction items sorted and sent to organiser as it looks like i will be out of action when she does the real money spinners so at least that is one less thing to worry about.
Still eating out of cupboards and freezer although haven't been eating massively. DD is now home and is making up for that!
Need to get spends book back up to date-receipts just stuck on the side at the minute.
Well thats about it from me, hoping for a more normal week

Hi everyone,
Congratulations Carrielovesfanta! Haha. I have two sprogs and would now be having a similar panic if my period was late.
Hope your DH is on the mend today Baileysbabe
Yesterday was another NSD. I'm up to 3 for this "spend week", we start a new one tomorrow. I've also had a couple of low spend days, and we're finishing the week with money left over!!
No plans today. I'm still feeling really tired, despite a much better sleep last night than I've had in ages. I could just slob about today but quite often that makes me feel worse.
Today's list -
Check banks and spreadsheets
List a couple of things for sale
Finish nappy wash
Hang on the line (?! Not sure if I can hear rain...)
Put another wash on
Tidy clothes away
Have a good day all
Make £2025 in 2025 #18 - £569.66/£2025
1p savings challenge #32 £24.85/£667.95
March - 0/15 NSD, £189.29/£168.75 made, PAD £72/£186, £184.87/£400 GC

Morning all :hello:
Bb I hope your DH is feeling better soon
Determined any news on the job?
It's my day off today :j plans for today:
Check banking, lull until payday at the end of the week but no dramas either
Filled vouchers that came from my just for points CC, they will do nicely for something we were going to buy anyway
Something from freezer for tea, update inventory
Going to visit a friend I've not managed to see for a few years today. Picked a place with free parking, and any spends will come from my personal spends. Will be good to catch up. Will give you a wave Ziggy as in your neck of the woods.
Hopefully DH and I can have a cuppa this morning post school run before he has to go to work. Didn't see him at all yesterday as he had a really long day
Double check the notes I've made ahead of payday shuffle.
Have a good day everyone. Purps.0 -
Morning all!
I hope all the poorlies are feeling better soon.
CCL nice to "see" you
Welcome to Deni
Another glorious day here. Pity I'm in work! OH is off to Berlin today for a corporate gig - returning Thursday so I'll have the house to myself. I'm often at home alone or awake alone. OH sleeps much later than me so I don't see him in the morning and he works Mon and Wed til 9.30pm and then the gigs on top. But it feels very different when he's not in the house at all.
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores. Have left OH a sandwich for his lunch
- Peanut butter and hm foraged damson jam on toast
- Oatcakes and cottage cheese
- Corned beef sandwich on hm bread
- Edamame beans
- Beetroot brownie
- Poss a stir fry for tea
- Heating off
- Use free app to limit Facebook (this creeping up again)
- No alcohol
- Gym after work - we have training all day
- Charge phone in work
- Look up a peanut flour recipe - I might bake a cake/biscuits later but I want to use what I have in - found some simple biccies
- Put black beans in s/c overnight
- OH to hopefully run hoover round and clean bathrooms before he leaves
