    Hi everyone

Please can I creep back in? :o

I'm WFH today so perfect excuse to catch up... :D

Been nice to read through and see how you are all getting on. Not been good to hear about all the people who are sick though :( Aw, CLF, you made me laugh, what a fright :rotfl:

So, I've got 6 weeks left of work before my maternity leave starts!:j I only get paid for 6 weeks though and then onto statutory so that will be a bit of a shock to the system... Thankfully OH has a good job now - been a godsend - and we've been saving so we'll see how things go! It's been a bit of a mindshift thinking about saving rather than throwing everything extra towards debts but I'll need a stash of cash to actually pay bills next year so I've just been trying to pay the minimum to debts for the past couple of months, which has been a strange feeling!!

Planning on hanging the washing outside today - crazy for Feb!
Porridge brekkie to keep me going
WFH so no car park spends; OH is parking in a pal's free spot so £5.40 saved :T
Need to do an online shop - definitely cheaper than me going to the supermarket...
Working hard because I need that bonus :rotfl:
    Reading a free kindle book
    Reconciled YNAB

    I'm sure there are more...

    Catch up soon xx

    Hi February Fund Finders,

    Thanks for the starter PF.

Morning!:coffee: W.e.e.k.e.n.d! I've been missing in action out in the real world again. I can honestly say that we have had the best weekend we've had in months. We headed down to Galloway Forest National Park were photogra-faffing our socks off. Red Kites soaring over the trees! Lunch in the SUN outdoors. Walks beside lochs. Getting slightly lost and finding ourselves in a car park in the midst of the forest watching a Red Kite perching on top of a tree watching us watching it. Coffee from a flask in bird hides. 'Illicit' cooking in our accommodation to avoid the cafe. :p:wink: A Songthrush serenading us morning and night. Used AirBNB.

This is the best I've felt in months mentally. :j

Thank you everyone for your support these last few months while I was 'down'. I am now very much 'up'!

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:

    * Check online banking. Done.

    * Check DW's online banking. Done.

    * Check in on eBay selling. Done.

    * Continue my Challenge 500 miles challenge to travel 500 miles for free before the end of 2019: walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, running and swimming. Walked 2km with DW and then cycled 6.3km alone. I've done 82/500 miles, just 1.3km to do before the end of Feb to stay on track.

    * Consume homemde soup made from some leftover Thai curry, cauli and swede scraps, leftover beef from last week's Sunday lunch, whey from last week's cheese making and leftover chicken stock. Done. Served with bread and homemade 'Philadelphia' cheese.

    * Drive for miles and miles on £15 of cheap fuel in my wee car not DW's bigger car. Done.

  • Afternoon everyone from the sunny North West and thank you for the lovely words of welcome !

I have brought into work my lunch following supermarket shop on Sunday - been tracking my spending this month as no idea how much i spend on food or petrol....

I charged my phone up at work and my colleague gave me a first class stamp & didn't want me to pay her - need to send something urgently so very grateful.

Also our lovely volunteer has offered to wash my car for free! I make him loads of cups of tea and coffee and brought him some lunch in yesterday (from my fridge/cupboards so at no extra cost!) so he said this was by way of a thank you. Am very thankful for this and my dirty car will be very happy to be returned to its lovely white colour
