A poll makes no sense in this case. There were too many issues and the towers would never agree to revert to the old design. There were several threads on Site feedback   board and still are, including the main (closed now) The Forum is getting a new look

My Santander EA was opened and funded on 11th September - but I don't expect the interest to be paid until tomorrow.  It's slightly different with a fix [with monthly interest], where your balance is consistent each month as is your interest rate - so they (and I) can anticipate day or two beforehand what the interest is likely to be for any given month and they often show it to you before it's actually paid.  But with EA accounts, the balance can vary across the month, so presumably they have to wait until a full month is up before they can calculate the interest for that month.

I have sent a message to Santander and double checked when interest will be applied. So it seems my accounts even though funded on different days (Edge: 10/09 & EA: 11/09) won't be paid interest until tomorrow.

If I remember correctly, it was all online and quick when I signed-up.

Cahoot Simple Saver - does anyone know if you have to apply 'from scratch' for an additional account?  I have SS 1 and want to open a SS 2?  Can't see an simple option online.

From scratch. Only takes a couple of minutes and SS2 is accessible right away.
