Thank you.
Don't get stressed, it's all a scam.
The plus side using this forum is that the good regulars on here are far more intelligent than the scam parking companies and even more intelligent than the moron debt collectors0 -
Advice here says never to phone parking firms, ad never to contact DRP, at all! You just did both. No wonder you are annoyed, this was pointless.
Emailing UKCPS and keeping proof that you did (for SIX YEARS) is all you can do for now apart from complaining to the landowner and asking them to cancel the scam.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oh WOW.
So guys, i Contacted Tap2Park directly who got in touch with UKCPS. They have came back to them and said I didn't use the correct vehicle reg. I've just check my receipt and I accidentally put in a single letter wrong. I can't believe it.
Am I know going to lose my case?0 -

Doubt you will lose as it's so trivial and easily done that a judge will consider UKCPS are wasting the courts time.
But you see, the point is ...... what happened to the money you paid via this app ?????
A point for UKCPS to explain to a judge ???0 -
This won't go anywhere near a court. UKCPS are bullies and won't risk being exposed on such a triviality. A Judge would mince them.
Just be ready for more DRP drivel through the post, keep it filed, but ignore it. Same goes for when their alter image Zenith get involved, same company, same shiite. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thank you for putting my mind at ease. To be more clear as well. The first four letters and last 2 letters of the reg are correct. Surely the first 4 are the main ones anyway as that is plate number. Which is correct. How do these people sleep at night. They are just awful.0

Umkomaas is right, won't go near a court.
You paid so one must assume that UKCPS has stolen your money0 -
I have just received this email from UKCPS. Thoughts please?
Good afternoon,
We have looked into the Parking Charge Notice reference ******* and can see that the vehicle registration has been inputted incorrectly.
However on this occasion we can offer a £15 cancellation fee if paid within 7 days.
Payments can be made by contacting our office on 0333 023 0121.
Please in future ensure details are correctly entered in order to ensure you do not receive any further Parking Charge Notices.
Kind regards

Your call. They will have expended money in retrieving your data from the DVLA and some postage to and fro with you, albeit not through any major fault of your own. £15 kills it for good (make sure you mark any covering letter 'In full and final settlement of PCN xxxxx).
However, if you're up for handling months of debt collector letters and (in very unlikely circumstances) dealing with a court claim, then tell them to stick it. They do have 6 years to continue to pursue you to court. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
