UKCPS & DRP - should I go to court (and win)

I guess i'm going to court then?!
Will keep you all updated.0 -
Surely there is somewhere or someone I can make a formal complaint to about these SCUM companies?!
We have seen this all before, and maybe you will get a small claim, albeit UKCPS are not that litigious at the moment.
Lord knows why you phoned the PPC and a debt collector, given the clear advice about this stage in post #4 of the NEWBIES thread which among other things, tells you NEVER to phone such firms.
What a waste of your time. At least now you know we are right on that!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I then called DRP and got spoken to like utter crap by a man who just kept saying to me if you're not calling to pay we will see you in court. I am absolutely fumen. He ended the call saying you'll have your day in court - BYE.

You must STOP phoning complete idiots.
DRP are just ignorant morons, the guy you spoke to was probably just a failed double glazing salesman ...... complete nutter talking out that hole where the sun don't shine.
Back to the sewer where you live DRP.
DRP are members of the BPA so you get the picture of this scam industry
Just ignore the cretins and wait now0 -
Hi All, sorry but i'm just having a mild panic about the thought of going to court because I didn't follow the appeal process. Could this go against me?
The reason I didn't appeal is because first and foremost I knew I had paid for parking and assumed UKCPS were a scam company (I mean they are anyway - but didn't think they could take me to court and just thought it was a single person or group trying to scam for card details and money)
Secondly, why on earth should I have to take time out of my already very busy life to write appeal letters when I have done NOTHING wrong?
As long as I submit my evidence when getting the court papers do you think i'll be OK?
I don't want the judge to side with them because I never went through the appeals process and allowed it to go to court even though since receiving the threatening letters I have contacted both UKCPS and DRP to no avail. I've even submitted evidence to DRP but says can take 14-28 days response.0 -

Nothing to panic about ....... it's not even gone to court yet
A judge will not frown on you, he/she will be looking at the evidence you produce on the day.
More likely he will frown on the PPC as the courts are fed up with all the fake claims. When you win you will have the pleasure of watching a judge whoop them and then awarding you costs0 -

It will be interesting to see the contravention - might be a wrong location code or other car's VRN input? There will be something but stop panicking and stop replying to dross.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
