Got my final bill from Symbio. They have used an estimated reading rather than actual one (as have not provided). If Eon use an estimate as well do both parties have to make sure they agree this final reading or can Symbio use a higher estimate than Eon?0

Got my final bill and it is still wrong. They are still assuming that I have used half a years worth of energy over eight days.

Like others I have submitted a reading to EON.Next. I submitted on 2 December and they assigned it to 28 November. Today I received a DD advance notice from EON.Next, which was as expected but included that my account had a negative balance. Logged on and found that a charge had been applied to the account. This corresponds exactly to the amount expected for the units used between opening reading for 3 October, and reading just submitted, with the number of days from 2 October to 27 November, calculated at the DD payment tariff. All very good. The downloadable bill hasn't appeared yet, but I'm sure it will. Looks like the transfer is complete.

Email fired off to the administrators. If they're overcharging at Symbio's rates your best option would be to pay and keep quiet. You'll never be able to buy power at these prices again, if they're letting you bank a load of it then just go along with it.I was hoping they'd make this kind of error with mine, but sadly they took an accurate smart meter reading on the changeover day.0 -

I've been charged for half a year's worth of energy in an eight day period, adding around £200 to the final bill. Emailed the administrators with the photo of the meter reading I originally submitted and kept on record. No response as of yet.Reed0
