They want a couple of quid off me as they've used the 31st October reading I submitted to them (for fun) as the closing 2nd October figure. I noticed that E.On also changed their opening, 3rd October, figure to that reading from the one I gave to both on the 4th.
I'm happy as I've had cheaper leccy.
Now to see if the E.On bill gets generated with the incorrect tariff as (like matelodave) I set up a DD asap, but the first one goes out tomorrow.
If necessary surely one can 'push' a FP to EON Next using one's account number as the reference? EOn next now appear in my HSBC bank account's Company Payees lists. Or use one of the other methods here https://www.eonnext.com/help/bills-and-paymentsemmajones1976 said: Fancy asking them if they are going to start accepting debit card payments online for ex-Symbio customers anytime soon?0 -
Has anyone's smart meter In-Home Dsiplay yet been updated to Eon's tariff? My IHD is showing E.ON Next tariff now.1

I just stated the facts... Neither EOn nor Symbio have used the 4th October dated meter read I supplied (or an estimate of what they should have been on 2nd/3rd when the SOLR came into force) ... both have used the one I submitted on the 31st to Symbio only.
Why would I moan if I've saved money?

I put a meter read in today on E-on, but has it dated the 28/11/21, so not sure what gremlins are at play0

I got my final symbio bill with repayment due later this month.1

I've also received a Symbio bill a few hours ago, which shows about £16 in credit. Apparently this will be refunded by cheque sent out by the end of November by E.ON, as I joined Neon Reef rather than transfer to E.ON.0

Although the smart meter is showing the EoN tariff (both s/c and kwh) my dashboard only shows one "smart" reading on 4th October. Both my end of Oct and end of Nov readings are shown as "manual".
I can't actually see a bill yet although I've managed to ramp up a goodly debit, despite having over £134 of SYMBIO money transferred already. My DD of £150 from yesterday hasn't yet been recorded although it's gone from the bank account.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
received my final bill from symbio which was correct
thankfully I owed them rather than vice versa so logged in & paid the bill by card manually
I transferred to Neon Reef so in theory will also have a final bill from both Eon Next (few days only) & Neon Reef to sort out
so thats 1 of 7 SOLR accounts fully dealt with, just 6 more to go1 -
I submitted a reading on 28th November, then realised I had made a typo and corrected it on 29th November, then submitted a new reading on 1st December. Eon still has the date at 28th November and each update I make replaces the previous reading for that date.Reed0

My "billing" reads were always in the realms of fantasy but my final reading to then on 4th Oct and opening reading to Eon on 4th Oct seem to have corresponded as my credit transfer from SYMBIO is about right.
SYMBIO had just started getting smart meter reads from my four years old SMETS1 smart meter. Interestingly the EoN meter reading on 4th October is also marked as being smart. I'm still waiting for an actuall final bill from SYMBIO. - just arrived and its correct although it states that it's a Customer reading rather than smart.
