    No need to employ people when you can outsource your customer service.
  • Really upset to be honest, coming up to being 2 years with them, they have taken a duplicate payment at the start of this month! Is it still best to contact the bank? or should I wait for Symbio to sort this ; i.e would it mess up billing if the bank issue the refund? - they're billing system is so unstable with this so called "reconcile" facility. I contacted Symbio on the 01/02, they usually reply same-day, but no response up to now... Getting really worried about them :'(

    Go to your bank and have the 2nd payment refunded. No need to wait for Symbio.
  • Was with them for 18 months - cheap is the only positive I can think of.  Switched to Green (lovely customer service) 8 weeks ago: Symbio have issued two incorrect final bills: - about £200 wrong!! Large credit balance with them and they say 'carry forward to next bill' ......er um what next bill? I have left.  Appalling customer service - and the comments on here for the last couple of weeks are alarming!

    They have told the Ombudsman via my complaint that they are changing their bank and this is wny they have not refunded my credit balance.  This may explain the 2 Direct Debits being reported here.

    Double Direct Debits issue can be easily resolved by contacting your bank and having it refunded.

    No, OFGEM and Energy Ombudsman are completely seperate organisations

    Thanks for that,little need personally to use either,for some reason I thought/assumed they were one and the same.
  • It's now over 6 weeks and I've not received my credit back so have emailed them to ask for it plus the compensation. See what happens.
