Symbio Energy feedback

Anyone who has had a extra DD payment taken needs to contact their bank to say that Symbio took the second DD in error and needs to refunded.
PS - I tried calling Symbio 3 times today, all of which ended with a " leave us your number & we'll call you back".0 -
These posts make me wonder whether, having just escaped from one SOLR this morning, I might be with another by the end of the week!0

I have Economy 10 electric warm air heating but have put Economy 7 in the search.
The tariff suggested is Low Fair and Green with two unit rates but they’re almost the same cost.
Unit rate 13.120p
Night rate 13.117p
Not sure if this is Economy 7.
I’m paying 12.969p night and 20.408p day with Eon so I would save about £1.28 a day f I switched.
Also paying by DD with Symbio looks a better bet than on receipt of bill that I currently do.
I hope to fit storage heaters soon for main living space heating so Ideally I’d like to keep my meter and times for now and just change supplier and tariff.
Maybe fit a new E7 timer with the storage heaters.

I have just spoken to my bank and they recalled the dup payment, it seems Symbio are on the grab so everyone keep a close eye on your accounts!! Don't bother talking to Symbio, just speak to your bank.0

In other news they entered credit default again over the weekend but managed to exit it yesterday afternoon. The timing of this after taking a 2nd DD is no coincidence.
They're basically stealing money from customers to keep themselves going.0 -
Yes I did wonder if that was the case, that would match up exactly.0

I mean Symbio are pretty lame in the customer services department but its a bit harsh to suggest they're stealing direct debits from customers to pay their ofgem responsibilities. Its probably a small minority of a few people who have been accidently double charged due to their incompetence rather than anything (doesn't excuse it, but just stating it!) I certainly have only had the one direct debit charged, and my account is in debit with them (only just, by about 60 quid) , they've upped my direct debit for 3 months (before another review) and i'm quite happy with that.0

If it keeps my energy costs among the lowest available then I'm happy to lend them a negligible amount in the grand scheme of things.
Alternatively I could pay appreciably more elsewhere for debatably better customer service...decisions,decisions.
