Just got my January bill. First day of their new tariff was yesterday and interestingly, they have kept my EAC at the same value as last year and taken last years fixed DD amount rather than the seasonal amount and lower EAC specified on the quote. The bill also states £25 exit fee, whereas the quote stated £30.

Just been notified that my Low Fair & Green Variable at 10.9p is coming to an end at the end of January.

Looks like the best that I can get is their Christmas Spark SE02 Variable at 12.8p.  A 17% increase, but still cheaper than anyone else for me.

Better the devil (and the interesting billing) you know!

    £25 + 20% VAT = £30

    £25 + 20% VAT = £30

That's not the case as the exit fee is inclusive of VAT as displayed on the bill. Last year it was £25 on the quote and also £25 on the bill.

It sounds like i was extremely lucky to renew early last month and get another 12m fixed tariff @ 10.773 (10.771 last year) and 20p standing charge which is cheaper than the 22p I paid last year.

Wish I had now! But Xmas & other stuff somewhat distracted me.

The only amusement from this month's bill is the reconciliated credit against their ludicrous over estimate is made at my new higher tarriff. Another basic mathematical error in their amateurish billing system!

My fix was due to finish in 2021 and noticed a better deal finishing in March 31 2022. They allow me to swap and according to my latest bill the rate now is 10.246 per kw and standing charge 19.048  plus vat on top. Ok they do over estimate but as we know they do reconcile the following month. Also they estimated for this month my usage will be 550 which is about 180 kw over what my usage will be. However in one of the summer months they seemed think I would use 616 units and I never use more than 400 even in the winter months. At least they are cheap.

do you really expect any difference between the way they treat their customer to the way they treat the regulator. they are a shambles.
