Symbio Energy feedback

GOV.UK lists Symbio as a provider of the Warm Home Discount, but Symbio's own website says "We aren’t currently able to offer our customers the warm home discount, but we are getting all the boxes are ticked."

Grammar aside, does anyone have any insight into this?

Depends how long their TV advertising campaign runs for. The only reason I can think of them not increasing their tariff while everyone else has is to try and win as many customers through their TV advert and price.

Symbio have gone into credit default this morning with Elexon (Along with Simplicity Energy). 
Going into credit default and remaining there for more than a day or so is a strong indicator that they are running out of cash and will go bust soon.

This along with the consistent late payments to Ofgem doesn't look good for Symbio. If they do survive into February then it will be interesting to see their usage estimates.

they've offered me £10 this evening, but not going to accept that.

i filed my complaint with the ombudsman yesterday.
