There is a post further up saying that it had been moved and where to with a link to the thread. The post is quoted below:redfox said:S_uk said:I don't know why my post about the Lidl app was deleted/moved? The thread title of 'good and bad buying' could reasonably be inferred as good and bad buying experiences (verb).
So this message isn't deleted, I'll just add that today I bought the 1kg bag of carrots for 19p offer which I thought was a good buy.

If it's sold out online and I still want it, I will take my chances in the store.
Same thing a fortnight ago, and a lot of stores had no stock at all. Sometimes needs must. I’m up early anyway, so no great hassle, but some people were up half the night!0 -

Really like the Aldi Specially Selected Kalamata Greek olives @ £1.49 for 350gms.Used to buy Tesco Finest £2.00 for 210 gms but OH says the Aldi ones are much better. And they're cheaper!2

Leaving aside for the present the obvious moral arguments around climate change (and allowing some leeway for Covid-enforced outdoor gatherings with elderly relatives), this was one of the reasons for the near 250,000 Aldi online queue yesterday - a 2000 watt Gardenline patio heater for £39.99.Well reviewed and literally half the price of the same product elsewhere. Sold out online almost immediately, but available instore on 11 April:1

I think the hanging egg chair had something to do with it too:
Aldi website crashes after 87,000 shoppers flock to buy £149 hanging chair

Aldi Rheinbacher lager. Used to be good, now replaced with a different design, still with the Rheinbacher label but noticeably inferior.By strange coincidence, at the same time they have introduced a new lager called San Marcos, which looks and tastes just like the old Rheinbacher, but costs 30p more.I guess this is how they hide price rises at Aldi."Einstein never said most of the things attributed to him" - Mark Twain1
