I felt that moving this thread to 'Gone Off' was a bit like being put on the naughty step as mods didn't like any discussion of shortages or quality of customer service. The new thread is presumably acceptable  provided you only post about products.

I think they just start a new thread for it every now and then, maybe to stop it from getting too big?

Though it'd make more sense just to close the old thread and link to the new one, instead of moving it to the "Gone off" sub-forum and leaving it open. I don't see the point in the "Gone off" section at all though...
