Does anyone have any cheap product recomendations or homemade concoctions that will clean shower cubicles. Glass door, tiled walls & plastic shower tray.

A bit of watered down white vinegar in a spray bottle will do the trick. If you have dirty grout to clean make a paste of bicarb and vinegar and rub into the grout with a scourer.

If you want to keep things shiny: buff the tiles with car wax afterwards.

Best thing I ever found for removing limescale off shower doors is a paint scraper, the kind you use for removing paint off glass. You can just scrape off any built up limescale and it cuts down the need for any products though I continue to use vinegar mix. They only cost a couple of quid too.

DH installed a new glass shower cubicle a year past April. He has a shower every day (I prefer a bath) before he gets out he squegees the doors and wall with a car washing squegee (the rubber side of the defrosting gadget thing). Takes him less than a minute. It has worked a treat - there's no limescale or water drying marks and the only part of the shower that ever needs cleaning now is the base.

Worth a try for when you get it nice and shiney. No harsh chemicals this way either.

    Hi Guys

Have you any idea how to keep the shower screen sparkling clean???
As I work I only manage to give a good scrub at week-ends. But it only stays clean for few hours! (It’s hard work – I never manage to get the watermarks off completely!)

I have three teenage boys (not to mention the hubby!) who aren’t very keen on wiping the screen after the shower.
Is there anything you can put on the shower screen that helps to reduce the watermarks?

Please help – it’s driving me nuts!
