Cillit bang is half price in tesco if you wanted to give that idea a go. I used liquid soda crystals very cheap and easy to use!

I've use the ubiquitous Stardrops. I have a spray bottle in the bathroom with a mix of stardrops and water. I spray it on during the end of the shower, wipe it down with cloth and then rinse off with the shower head.

Hi, can anyone tell me how to clean my shower screen properly (I mean sparkling)? I've tried various things both shop bought and home made but nothing seems to leave it gleaming. Any ideas?

Well I've tried all sorts, stardrops, vinegar, furniture polish and flash to name a few. Flash is the best, its not OS but it does work, which does mean you are spending your money on the right product which will work. Rather than lots of "oh lets try this one this week"

    Hi unixgirl,

We have an older thread that should give you more ideas, so I'll merge your thread with it as it helps to keep all the suggestions together.

I find Astonish bathroom cleaner very good, and it's quite cheap (in certain places) - most pound shops seem to stock it, and are obviously a good deal cheaper than Lakeland. Blue liquid in spray bottle - same range as the hob cleaners mentioned earlier in the thread.

    Hi

my DH cleans our bathroom (bless!) and he swears by using the flash floor cloths on the shower doors. Not OS I know - but he does use stardrops everywhere else - he recommends this to everyone he meets (just about - puts on deep voice "hi can I buy you a pint? Did you know floor cleaning wipes are very good at cleaning shower doors?")

I don't think they have to be flash branded - just the disposable floor wipes.

    Hi money savers,
After couple weeks of experimenting I have come up with my own tried and tested glass shower screen spray. It is designed for spraying in between showers to keep water marks and soap scum from sticking to your glass shower doors after you've cleaned them.
My recipe is made from eco friendly products and works extreamly well in our hard water area.
I've worked the ingredients price to be about 32p in total. You could probably make it even cheaper by using non-eco products.
It does have a slightly vinegary odour but the essential oil helps cover it up

    You will need:

1 x plastic plant spray bottle

45 ml Ecover dishwasher rinse aid.

7.5 ml Ecover washing up liquid.

    30 ml White vinegar

Enough water to add to the other ingredients to make 600ml in total of fab shower spray.

20 drops of your favourite essential oil ( I use Lavendar)

Just use a funnel to put all your ingredients into the spray bottle and top up to 600ml with water. Give it a shake and its ready to use.

    Nice, cheap and effective.

I hope you all like it. :T
