Hi ely,
We have a recent thread on cleaning water marks from shower doors that should help so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.

We live in a really hard water area. As such we use the Mr Muscle shower spray which you spray onto the shower glass after you have had your shower and it stops the build up of grime really well.
But whilst it really does work, it isn't cheap and I have a feeling that there is probably an easy way to make this stuff up yourself.
But with what?
So any ideas?
Thanks0 -
Hi!
Don't have this problem so I'm not quite sure..... usually vinegar is the answer to most problems!!
Have you tried looking in the indexed threads about cleaning?? There are usually some links at the top of the page.....

We have the same problem with hard water and I agree that the shower spray (Lakeland) is very good but works out very expensive - as a stardrops fan I keep the build up down with a good wipe over with stardrops every few days0

Tesco own brand one works. Morisson's doesn't.0

I don't use any cleaning products at all to keep our shower screen sparkly. I keep a squeegy (you know - one of those rubber strips on a plastic handle) in the shower & EVERYONE knows to squeegy the screen after they've had a shower.
It's never needed anything else, costs nothing once you've bought it & ours always looks clean & shiny.0 -
Vinegar works well just wipe it over with a cloth & shower off, you can try putting it a spray bottle to make it easier.0

I use Asda's car wash with inbuilt wax on my shower screen once a week, and in between just wipe it over with a squeezy or just a wet wipe after I've used it. The wax coating stops the limescale and soap sticking to it, and is just as easy to use as any other cleaning stuff made for household stuff. It also only costs about 80p for a bottle.0

I've only ever used the Lakeland spray, which I think is really effective - but am going to try some of the suggested alternatives.Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0
