  • "I have advised him to go to his bank"
Possibly contact, phone, e-mail, chat, his bank rather than actually go there?
  • Had to ask my bank for a charge back after five weeks of excuses with no phone and varying excuses
There is a fb  group been set up with over 800  very unhappy customers have a look ! I've also reported to trading standards !

  • They reported my review on trust pilot which was not abusive but got removed
How are they allowed to get away with it !!!!

Just thought I'd give a bit of a timeline of my experience with Quick Mobile Fix:

    • Ordered a phone on Feb 28th - Told to expect 10 working day delivery
    • 11 Working days pass, I contact them and they say that there's been a delay and they couldn't give me an expected delivery date. I do a bit more research and decide to cancel the order (this was the 9th of march). they agree to the cancellation and tell me to wait 10 working days for a refund.
    • 10 working days pass (23rd march) and I've heard nothing. Email them and they say that the refund will be with me by 30th march.
    • On the 30th march they say the refund will be with me on or before April 2nd
    • On april 2nd they sent the exact same email but updated it to 9th April
    • On the 7th April they said that my refund has been processed and that the money will be with me in 3 working days
    • This morning (april 9th) I receive an email saying that I will now receive my refund on or before 21st May due to "due diligence checks from our accounts department"
I contacted my bank on March 23rd after my first refund date was pushed back. The bank told me about the chargeback process via their help chat which unforunately will probably take 3 months. After they delayed my refund a further two times I called my bank to try and see if they could speed up this process but unfortunately I'm just going to have to wait for the chargeback process to finish. I know some people have had a bit of luck when calling their banks and they've managed to get the money back on the same day!

All I can say it avoid this company. I've found testimonies online from ex-employees saying that they felt like they were working in the middle of a scam, taking money for phones that they didn't have in stock and then being made to keep explaining to customers that their refunds are delayed.

I was very fortunate in that I had enough money to get myself a phone from elsewhere before receiving my refund but i know that there are others who haven't been so lucky. Makes me really sad reading about other peoples' experiences where their children have saved up birthday/christmas money only to be scammed by this awful company.

If anyone has any advice on how I could potentially get my money back please let me know!

  • I purchased an iPhone from them in good faith in February 2020 and the phone still has not arrived. Being a patient person, I gave them numerous opportunities to fulfill the order or provide me a refund and unfortunately they have not done so. I am now out of pocket and without a proper working phone during this national crisis. After doing some thorough investigation, I discovered, I was not the only consumer to experience such an awful customer trauma. Follow me on Twitter - @Boycott_QMF_LTD and Instagram - @boycott_quick_mobile_fix so we so we can spread the word for them to be boycotted and ultimately face prosecution. #BoycottQuickMobileFix

  • Yes they are !!!
Please see the facebook group and twitter CANCEL inform your bank and ask for a charge back , other option make a money claim through gov uk or small claims court , they will keep you hanging
    On
    Research and review!!!
  • See reviews dot co dot uk they remove trust pilot reviews !!!
  • I waited over 3 weeks for my phone. The only communication I had from them was a pre written email, to say there was a delay, this was always the same email saying delivery would be the following week.  That's when I realised something wasn't right. They said I could have a refund, but will have to wait almost a month?! Why would this not be instant? Why a month?
From reading reviews and my own experience it appears very likely, they are selling phones they don't actually have. I would have thought QMF needs investigating by Trading Standards. The people they're exploiting are people who might not have the money for a new phone, a kid who has saved up...

I've had an almost identical experience to you. I've contacted Watchdog and Trading Standards.
