Based on my recent experience of buying a refurbished iPhone from QMF, they do not have the one your order in stock, they then offer you a different one, it turns up but is substandard, you return it and ask for a refund which is never forthcoming. DONT BUY FROM THEM.

BY CONTRAST I ordered one from Amazon in time for Xmas which was cheaper, better condition and was hassle-free.

I am still trying to get my money back from QMF. Been nearly a month.

Then you should have either contacted your bank for a refund or sent a LBA. These types of outfits will string you along until you do.
  • I have just sent a letter to QMF to demand a refund on a non-functioning iPad.
The scam is simple- send the unworkable computer, get it back, then ask for the unlocking code. As I could never use the device, I put no code in. After two months, and after numerous demands to a replacement, they say that it's the customers fault that I it cannot be mended, the warranty has expired, and they 'cannot' give a refund. A simple and probably often very effective scam.
What I do not understand is how, given all the evidence against this company's dishonest practices, they continue to operate openly and apparently legally.
What does a company have to do to be shut down?

The address does indeed exist. In fact they have had that many "customers" visit the premises in an attempt to resolve their issues that QMF have resorted to installing a 10 foot high perimeter fence!

Certainly don't count your losses, contact your bank and ask for a charge back. For more help and advice visit this facebook group.

  • QMF supply a questionable product and their warranty is worthless.
Within 8 months of purchase the iPhone X I purchased developed a known manufacturer's component issue with the touchscreen (Ghost Touch) which is covered by Apple's Extended Repair Program.
Apple diagnosed the fault as this, but they were unable to replace the screen because it had been replaced once already prior to me purchasing it.
I returned the device to QMF with all these details and they demanded £159 to replace the screen claiming damage had caused the fault.
This was contrary to Apple's own diagnosis.
    QMF's Warranty states:
"The warranty for refurbished phones and tablets sold by Quick Mobile Fix differs depending on the device and only covers manufacturing defects. If the fault is not related to this or happens outside of the warranty period, an extra cost may occur. It does not cover physical or accidental damage."
My experience is they will claim any fault as damage and try to get you to pay for it - both outside of their own warranty, and a manufacturer's own repair program.
Article 50 of the TEU states that:
"Second–hand goods that you buy from a trader are also covered by the minimum 2-year guarantee. In some EU countries, when you buy second-hand goods you can agree with the trader on a guarantee period of less than 2 years. However, it must be no shorter than 1 year and should be made clear at the time of purchase."
THE LAW is that QMF must repair, replace, reduce the price or give a refund if the goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised.
The iPhone X I purchased from QMF is within the 12 month warranty period offered by QMF. It was supplied with an invalidated manufacturer's warranty which was not disclosed. It was returned to them with no damage.
By not honouring either their own warranty or EU Directives, QMF are knowingly breaking the law.
I would avoid them at all costs.
  • Very poor service. I do not know how the overall rating is still 3+. Its been 18 days now I have purchased a mobile, and now they are telling that it will take another 1 week or so to send me the mobile. Even mobile companies don't take 4 week to build a new mobile phone from scratch. Hopeless service. Last week after 13 days of purchase they told me that they are not able to deliver the mobile since quality test have failed. I do not understand whats going on is it like they have only 1 mobile phone which they are tying to fix or something? They can send me some other phone right? Or all their phones have failed the quality test? Then why still they have the mobile(with same specification I have purchased) listed in their website?
  • In short, yes they are. As many of the forum users I purchased a device for Christmas and it had many poor quality replacement parts fitted. When I contacted them about this they were very happy for me to return the item but still no refund. I have contacted American Express for
refund, that was only a few days ago still waiting to hear back. In my opinion all the online reviews except Trustpilot are fake as the reviews on Google, etc. are mainly positive
  • AVOID AT ALL COSTS, I ordered Dec 6 2019, got phone, was damaged, sent back same day, still waiting for refund Feb 20, terrible terrible company who should be banned from taking online payments.

  • My son unfortunately ordered a phone from them without reading the reviews , three weeks later he has still not received the phone , I have advised him to go to his bank as looking at other reviews on google people have still not received their refunds , trust the reviews so not order from these con artists
