This may be an unpopular opinion but should you be telling her to stop taking prescribed medication? If she is dehydrated she needs to be drinking more and seeing a doc for an emergency appointment. Hope she's feeling better soon.

As I was calling the doctor for her today, it was a short term fix t her situation. But after the call it's fine.

Well Biggest had a phone call meeting with our investigative friends.
One of the first questions she was asked "how long have you known your mother!?)
Right Have you ever been separated from her? In what way?
Your Mum likes to travel, do you see this as a problem?
Your Mum is not in a relationship?

    Am I weird?

If it wasn't such a serious matter it would be laughable.

I wonder who the heck thinks these things up. No Ss you are not weird unless the rest of us are too.

I had to rearrange dds Drs appt on Monday. Too sick to go. She's seeing him Friday but he's had to prescribe an emergency AB tonight . She's been high as a kite on painkillers all week and her eardrum burst late afternoon.

We're now seeing what happens when she goes 28 days without the antiviral. Not looking forward to Fridays trip to the pharmacy for the next lot of meds.

I hope the questions are near the end Ss and some degree of calm can return.

Positive thoughts to our friends here. We had snow then sleet yesterday followed by hailstones . We all need to up our game and invent human hibernation asap.

Are you ok beanie? You're very quiet says the pot to the kettle.

  • Good to hear you're still plodding beanie. I tried to get the ab tonight at a late night pharmacy but it's very strong and not widely available - there's a pattern here with dds meds!

I'll be phoning around tomorrow morning to find somewhere with it in stock, not up to going anywhere just in case.

Once that 's done and dd has seen Superdoc on Friday I need to get back to the other thread . Posted a month ago then things started going pear shaped. There were so many hints and tips on the original one I plan to go back and repost them. Ariadnes duvet trick is now well known as the Sushi Roll. I found that helped a lot with changing duvet covers once I ran it past the fibro fog.

Take care of yourself and stay warm.

DS was asked questions on the phone and then the chap came to talk to DGd, and then also a few words to me.

I hope that he will be finished soon!

Mum actually got dressed this morning on her own. Little steps.

  • Good news about your mum. Little steps as you say. I've been reminded of The Spanish Inquisition, think it was Monty Python. lets hope things are near the end.
