Waiting for the lad to fall asleep, so I can get some myself. DS has work this evening after all which is good for his wallet but not good for me as I have to keep sorting out the lad and he is just being a pain and woken up the baby again.
I have patience but I would rather he tried not to break it and just went to bed and slept. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I hope that the lad settled down and let you get a good sleep Mooloo! Also hope that mum is very much better so that you can both enjoy your holiday. It's not difficult!

It took until 9.15 before the boys finally went to sleep. I was in bed seconds later. Baby woke at about 1am. Dgd was up out of bed and in there before me, looking for his dummy and giving him a cuddle. DS wasn't home then. I didn't hear DS come home, but he was definitely home when I woke at 3 for the loo.
He's trying to sleep at the moment but it will not be decent sleep as I have had to bring the baby down at 6 so he didn't wake his brother, and he has played fairly quietly for an hour before his brother woke up. It's been a challenge as they play with the toys. I have done their breakfast too.
It is definitely times like this when we miss a fourth bedroom.
I will tell DS to use my room if he wants to sleep a bit longer. Although it is getting a bit later now and I need to be doing things. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Isn't he a lucky boy to be getting a lie in in Mummy's bed!
He does deserve it after a late night out.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -

Here's a suggestion that might - or might not work for you all, Mooloo - have you considered swapping your bedroom for the one that the boys are in - and adding an extra bed for DS in there too? Now that you have your cabin, you might not need quite so much space ...and DS would be on hand to deal with his babies ;-) ……0

Is making DS more at home a good idea? Mooloo says he makes no financial contribution.0
