Oh Mooloo - my heart breaks for you - but you have done the most loving, most caring thing for your family that you can do. You are giving these two little boys a chance to have a good life with parents who will be young enough to wrangle them around in a manner which you, because of your age, would find extremely hard. And at the same time, you are giving DGD your time, time in which she will blossom - and not make the same mistakes that her aunt and uncle have made.
Your son has had every opportunity - and sadly has proved inadequate - you cannot be held responsible for the choices he has made - only he is. You will still be able to give your mum the time that she needs - time which will sadly be running out - but you will be able to spend valuable time with her.
And you - you can breathe, you may be able to fulfil your dreams - or amend them - but you can be you.
We are all behind you in applauding your courage in this step. xxxx0 -

Mooloo, I have just caught up with what has been going on. You have given it your best shot but I think you were placed in an impossible position. I think the decision you have made will prove to be the best thing though I know it won't feel like it now or for some time to come. Thinking of you all . Be strong as I feel that pressure will be put on you to change your mind xxxxxx0

Let's see what they come back with. You live in fluid and somewhat chaotic times. I have a feeling this is not done with yet.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000

Mooloo that is a very brave decision and I know it must be horribly painful, but i agree with other posters that it is the right one in the circumstances xx0

Mooloo, when you look back at this decision, please remember that you did not let the little ones down. The system that is supposed to offer support let everyone down
Whilst you have thought about what is best for you, you certainly have not been selfish. You have come a decision that feels right for everyone concerned and put the needs of the little ones above your natural desire to care for them yourself.
Please be gentle with yourself, you are a special person in your own right, not just as a mother, grandmother, daughter etc. It's not difficult!

To be honest I think Mooloo has to stick with the decision.
She talked to a lot of important people in her life and has come to a conclusion. At least partly this was based on the age factor which isn't going to alter whatever SS come up with. I presume this has been communicated to DGD and you can't keep throwing change at kids. Given the level of distrust with SS even if this started again I can't see how anyone could feel settled.0
