I am on my own. Social have forced me to evict my son immediately. The drug test showed use in March and still on going use to cannabis traces. So if he stays they threaten that I am not caring for Dgd if I allow him to live here, and also that they will only let me be a carer for the children if he is not living here. I expected eventually but not immediately.
I don't know what I am going to do. I couldn't go into work, suddenly I cannot leave my son alone with the children and I am broken.

    I am totally broken.

Just caught up with this Mooloo, n really don't know what to say:( Remember You have a right to a life too. This whole situation is a nightmare!

Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

Either there's more to it than social services/whoever are letting on, or someone somewhere is game playing/has an agenda. If children were removed from everyone who smoked cannabis, there'd be a heck of a sight more in care. I understand there's a bit more going on with your son, but there's still a massive whoosh of goalposts being moved, on the face of it.

I can only agree with other posters. You need to look at the bigger picture, which is probably very difficult when you're in the middle fire fighting it all. But I find it difficult to see how you can possibly carry on as you are now without something giving very quickly. And Social services must be aware of that - one hopes they're not so stupid as to think you can just pick up the extra burden and carry on. The ball has to be firmly back in their court.
I wish you well. I also think you have to be realistic, and I'm not sure you are a position to see what that looks like at the moment.

I will catch up tomorrow I need sleep.
I was told they will give me £50 a week for the boys until the case is sorted. I will be shouting out at that.

    Solicitor was £95 today
If I engage them it's £240 an hour!!
    They don't do legal aid.
    That's me scuppered.
Tomorrow is another day. We will look at the battle plan

I was just thinking of you a Gizmo and wondering if I could talk to you.

I will message you at some stage.

    Now bed is calling me.

Yep, and that includes reading the copious amounts of paper work that will be filed with the case. Several hundred pages probably as the social have to produce everything they have had, and this case has been going on for years because they were involved when DS had first left the house before 2nd child was born, and the mother has history herself.
Then on my behalf they will probably open up the file on Dgd, and I was warned that they will re look at every nook and cranny in my life again.
They will even interview my ex husband ( who I don't actually have anything to do with unless he happens to be at a family event of Biggests. We have been separated and divorced for 25 years or so.)
The solicitor said they will question my ability to parent because my children have been involved with social with their children!
So that's going to be fun.
They will also be looking at my health etc and my relationships etc and could even still interview my exbf. I spoke to him last week to warn him they will probably contact him again.
I suppose that they have to be thorough.

Now it's all changed again and DS cannot have contact here, but needs to be in a contact centre. This is getting more and more difficult for me to function. How can I care for my Mum if I cannot get a car? I can't leave the children with anyone
    I can't work
    I can't have full funding

I have no idea what next.

I would call and request a visit immediately because you are in crisis.

And tell them you simply cannot do it without support. To take the boys way now if you are truly on your own and unfunded.

Because you CANNOT go on like this, and you need to make your crisis, their crisis!

Mooloo, you are strong and brave but no one is a miracle worker.
I think this situation is beyond endurance and frankly should never have been allowed to develop this far.
It's not going to end well unless you try to look at it objectively, which is nearly impossible as you are of course emotionally involved.
